The sandwich tastes like something out of the great depression era and the service was just average. Usually because of the roller coaster dinner service sometimes its dead and other times full. Oh there’s 75 rsvps ahead of you might as well just give up on a decent burger.

Great casual atmosphere, nicest waitresses. Onion rings were perfect and a must have, and we both really enjoyed the wraps.

stopped in to the Canyon Grille as soon as we got to The Welk, and it was such a nice start to our vacation. Crispy Brussel sprouts and yummy onion rings for appetizers and a tefreshing lavender martini fir my friend a d a jalapeño coconut pineapple margaritas for me and mum. A lively refresher after our travel!

Honestly. This place is absolutely garbage. Kids Mac and Cheese which they charge $11 for is basically a few French fries and half a box of Kraft Mac N Cheese. The Filet was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Wasn’t cooked how I ordered it and it clear was cooked from frozen. It was Friday night at 7:30 and the place had 0 customers. I’d love to see Gordon Ramsey review the place on kitchen nightmares because this is by far one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. Staff however are super friendly. Overall. Over priced county fair food.

I had a Mediterranean omelet which was OK. Hash and sourdough toast was good and coffee was disappointing. The service was good. I think the resort needs to update the dining options.

Although the customer service was great, I personally felt the atmosphere lacked a bit. They have 3 sides to this restaurant; the main dining room, the bar and the lounge. I’m sure its busy during the summer time and thankfully we arrived when no one was sitting at the bar so clearly that was the right choice. The main dining room looked really cute and upscale but you look across and it felt like a dive bar. There is plenty of seating to accommodate everyone, I just felt the dive bar needed a pizzazz. Shared a Ruben meal w no cheese but requested everything to be on the side; thousand Island and sauerkraut. The meat to bread ratio was off, I mean initially I wanted a corned beef sandwich but with so little meat I had to add the condiments, the fries were the best thing on the plate although it came a bit late it still was really good. Also, it should be noted if you want to share plates there is a charge.

We have been coming to the Welk resort for 20 years. This place is not what it used to be. We visited May 2023 and this restaurant was way overpriced for what we got. The staff and service was great, the food was not. Over $200 for a table of three that should have cost $120.

We ate breakfast here and seriously, the food was the worst we’ve ever had at a restaurant. They make their eggs with pre-mixed egg product. The bacon was 90% fat, the sourdough toast was not. The hash browns were ok. The food is overpriced, the atmosphere, well there isn’t any. The staff and servers are excellent. We will never be back and I suggest you don’t risk it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but want to warn people eating here. Of course we expected high prices on a resort but food was awful. My wife got a “grilled” chicken salad. The meat (not sure if chicken) was awful looking. Not fresh not grilled. My $21 burger was pretty weak, pretty sure it was a frozen patty or at least pre-made patty. Bacon on the burger was the best part. My kids chicken strips were really hard and mostly not edible. We had a voucher so didn’t lose money, but had to seek out something else off property for dinner. Check out the pictures of meat from salad.
