I finally found something good from Tiktok other than snail mucin, an authentic Cantonese restaurant which serves halal meat (Chicken & Beef) on request, Canton House Restaurant and Event Hall on Pleasant Hill in Duluth right opposite Desi Brothers.
Fantastic ambiance, fine dining and yummylicous authentic Cantonese cuisine. We were greeted by the hostess who ushered us into the dining hall and wrote halal on our menu card before our server arrived to make sure we got what we were looking for.
We ordered the Hot & Sour soup which was a perfect combination of veggies, tofu and mushrooms, perfect consistency. Veggie egg rolls were standard that you’d get anywhere but being hot, crispy and flavorful, they were consumed, as soon as they hit our table.
Since we were just the two of us, we ordered the firecracker chicken which was extremely delicious and on the spicier side. Was served with a side of boiled jamsin rice which is enough for two.
Peter, the manger personally came to our table and asked us about the food and service, which we loved. He also highly recommended the firecracker shrimp which is not on the menu but he said, can be prepared right away.
Overall a fantastic experience, excellent food, great customer service and beautiful decor give this restaurant a 5/5. It’s economically priced too, our tab was $35 without gratuity.
If you are looking for authentic Chinese cuisine with a great ambiance, Canton House is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Best Asian restaurant ever! We have been eating at the Canton House in Atlanta for over 30 years. We found this restaurant from many friends recommendation. Look at the spread! We order Whole crispy fish, beef, fried rice, soup, and their famous crab claw shrimp balls. Food is so authentic! Coming back every month for my dimsum and cantonese fix. The waiter told me they hand made their rice noodles in house. He recommend doing Beef Chow Fun dry style. Next on the menu. A great eatery in Duluth.

I’ve had my share of dim sum and this one is my new favorite. Everything we tried was simply elevated with flavors unlike I’ve had before.
The service is spot on, unlike other dim sum I’ve had, this place brings little extra’s to the table, like hot sauces, etc. without being asked. Love it.
This is my new go to for dim sum!

A wonderful dining experience at Canton House Restaurant & Event Hall in Duluth! They offer halal options upon request, which is perfect for those seeking a halal diet. We ordered the Mongolian beef, Mongolian chicken, sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and hot chicken soup — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. My family truly enjoyed everything we tried. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, ideal for a pleasant family dinner. We noticed other families dining and enjoying their evening as well, which added to the friendly vibe. The staff took excellent care of us, and even the bathrooms were spotless. The restaurant also has multiple event halls, and while a few events were happening during our visit, everything was well organized and separate from the dining area. I highly recommend Canton House for both family dinners and future events — a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish!

Very pleasing Dimsum spot, everyone was very attentive and friendly, spoke English very well. Ate for 2 people bill $130 with tips. Pricey for 2 people but worth it. Would come again, they got milk tea too lol. A lot of parking space, Saturday at 1pm. Had a lot of different things like abalone shumai, cream puff size of baguette, taro baos and matcha egg custards etc. the crab claw didn’t taste well lol. Wished it tasted more like the fried shrimp balls paste thing

This hall is perfect for events, especially wedding parties or any large gatherings that need a spacious area. The sound and lighting system are excellent, creating a wonderful atmosphere for the event. The staff provided outstanding service—very professional and attentive. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended!

Ah yes! Dim sum and then some. For Georgia, this isn’t a bad spot for dim sum and it’s all day! The food was actually pretty delicious. We ordered tons dim sum dishes none of them disappointed. Only thing I’d say is the sesame balls were a bit too hard or crunchy but it still tasted delicious nonetheless. If I’m in town again, This is one spot I’d try again. Service was really good! They tended to us despite how busy they were.This place is great for small or large parties. At the time we went there was a wedding going on. It was still a good time. Till then, let’s eat!

Service was also middle-of-the-road. The staff were polite, but the experience felt a bit uncoordinated at times, which detracted from the meal. Again, a 3-star rating feels fair here.
