I took my beautiful wife (Trista) here for her birthday, she ordered a steak dish and I ordered the yellowfin, delicious! Plus, you get a brownie and ice cream! It was a wonderful evening and the staff was pleasant and friendly. All around, good time.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. I had fried green tomatoes and a house salad. Both were great!! It was my 1st time at the new location. I didn’t leave the bar/entrance area but it was nice from what I could see.

Visiting from AZ and reconnecting with some family at this restaurant. It was a great to see family, but it was only made better by the incredible food and atmosphere!

The ambiance was great. They had seating both outside and in a covered open air space. Food was good, service was friendly. Prices were fair. No complaints.

Wife and I stumbled across the Chophouse. The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing and the staff are truly the best! The Fried Green Tomatoes were cooked perfect, the Chicken Fried Steak was the best I have ever had, and my Wife loved the Butterfly Shrimp.

My wife and I decided to make the drive from Erie based on recommendations from our son. Couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Our server, Kelly, was a delight: knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food was incredible, from the fried green tomatoes appetizer to my steak (the “baseball,” a perfectly done medium filet) to my wife’s pork chops. The menu was a la carte, and we both ordered baked potatoes (actual restaurant-sized!) and the asparagus (seasoned and prepared perfectly). Oh, and the Cajun gumbo! Just a little spicy but not overbearing. Could’ve made a full meal of just the gumbo and fried green tomatoes! Sooooo good.

Definitely one of the best meals you will find in town. I started with their fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. I have to say that that were superb! I followed that up with their soup of the day, which if I recall correctly was a sausage jumbalaya. I might have gotten the name of the soup wrong, as I’m going from memory here. But I do remember that it was fantastic! I finished off the meal with their Jamaican style salmon. Maybe it was my high expectations going in, but it was a little bit of a let down for me. The taste was okay. It just was a bit on the dry side and wasn’t really anything standout to me. The food news is that this was the only thing I was displeased with while I was there. The wait staff was attentive and very enjoyable to talk to. Overall, it was a great night.

Good food and good service. Greeted as soon as we entered and seated quickly. Staff was very attentive. Appetizer was delicious (calamari) and arrived quickly. Hot n Crunchy burger was also very good. Food arrived at a good pace and came in generous portions. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a good place to eat in Meadville.

I was disappointed in the macaroni and cheese. The menu said it was baked but it definitely did not meet the definition of baked Mac and cheese. My cousin enjoyed his burger and fries. I would go back and would like to try other things on the menu. However, I think they should just remove this from the menu if they aren’t going to vastly improve on this recipe. There was probably 5 times more cheese than was even needed. When it’s real shredded cheese this can be a good thing. When it’s a cheese sauce, not so much. The service was friendly and I appreciated that the server removed the dish from our bill.
