Barely squeaked a 4th star from me because the fajitas were decent.

I feel bad leaving this review because the staff was nice but it is necessary. The food here is very low quality. If you want fresh quality products this is not the place to go. Everything I ate tasted like it came from a can or jar. I ordered the Chile rellenos and the red sauce that was put on top tasted like marinara. I let the waiter know and he let me re-order so I did. I ordered the nachos supreme with steak because I actually enjoyed the chips that were brought out when I arrived. When my nachos came they were topped with cheese that was already hardened (it was not hot when it came out), jalapeños from a jar (I could tell due to the discoloration of some of them), and the nachos did not come with steak, it was instead shredded beef that had the flavor of being packaged in a can. It was disgusting. I will not eat here again.

Definitely way better than La Frontera. Fresh! Not greasy oily goop! My dish was wonderful but my only complaint is the meal portion could be more for the money you spend.

I joined family there after I had already eaten dinner elsewhere, so I just had a cup of soup and a taco. The soup was delicious. The taco was good but not great. They had unlimited refills on tortilla chips, but the chips were served in a small bowl, so we quickly ran out of them, and it took several minutes for the server to offer a refill. Overall I enjoyed this place and their menu and would eat there again.

Fantastic food. Probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in SLC. The shrimp fajitas and Super Cancun platter were extremely good. This is our number one Mexican restaurant going forward.

The owner is super friendly and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back. My daughter wants to move here from Colorado just for this restaurant and their delicious food

I just like this place a lot. Fortunately the father and son business has had great staying power. Just good food. My latest time I got the special which was 3 enchiladas with choice of meat( I got the chicken) smothered with Chile Verde and cheese, rice and beans on the side. Free chips and salsa to start and given the time I would have had a virgin margarita. I’ll be trying their seafood selections within the month, they sound fantastic.

As a California ex-pat and former resident of Texas, I’m almost always disappointed in Mexican food in Utah… not anymore! Dinner was amazing. My fish tacos were the best I’ve had in years. The barria tacos were divine! I will be returning.
