Was recommended we checked this place out by some locals. It had a very homey feel. The food was amazing, and workers were very friendly. We stopped by the gift shop to get some souvenirs, and walked around a bit to look at some of the history they have on display. There was a very cool trail behind the restaurant that we checked out. We almost missed the restaurant because it was directly after a curve, but very grateful we stopped.

Good food, but a little pricey. I didn’t find the food to be anything extravagant, but it was tasty. Cool place though if you’re just passing through! Kielbasa skillet was great as well as the Denver omelette.

I love camp.18 it’s a bit nostalgic for me so I’m probably biased but I love the atmosphere and how it feels very homey several beers are available on tap as well as cider and a wine list. I didn’t see any liquor list or anything so i don’t think they serve it. Maybe call and double check because I could be wrong. I recommend all the burgers as well as the blue cheese dressing, onion rings and the fries. Some of the best onion rings and fries around and I’m pretty picky. Oftentimes I find that the fries have old tasting oil and they come out somewhat soggy from the more homey restaurants and that’s not the case with camp 18 you’re getting nice crisp fries that aren’t drenched in oil and burnt. Also the service was great we had 2 very angry children that turned into evil ogres about halfway into the meal they decided to dump out their drinks at different times in protest of not getting what they wanted. Overall, a great time and we will be back again. Much love from X oregonians.

We’ve visited several times throughout the years. Most recently we went on a weekday during the off season. It was quiet, and no real wait to be seated. Food was good. Would have preferred to be seated near a window as the view is part of this place’s charm…but we didn’t specifically ask for a window, so it’s all good. The padded seat of the table we were at was comfortable. The BLT we shared was good. Consider sticking around after your meal to check out the gift shop and all the logging history on the grounds.

This is our must-stop for breakfast on our way to Canon Beach. You just can’t go wrong. Be sure to check out the gift shop and history of the logging camps, and don’t forget the hidden stream nearby.

Big portions, big dining area, bring a big appetite! We stopped for lunch. I had a BLT: thick slices of crisp bacon on sourdough bread was quite tasty.

This is a wonderful pitstop between Astoria and Portland. I wanted to order the beef stew, but my young waiter said it was sold out (I ate at 3:30pm), and he suggested either the clam chowder or the prime rib sandwich. I asked him to choose one, so he suggested the sandwich with a cup of chowder for $1.75 extra. I devoured both. Here’s a pic of that cup!
