Definitely a good little spot.
I’ve come here several times over the years when I have to come to Canton, a couple of trips even being just to come here.
The service is always very friendly and the food is exactly what you expect it to be. The interior of the restaurant is also more interesting than your run of the mill Mexican eatery, which is a breath of fresh air.
I live a little over an hour from Canton, and as previously stated this is my go-to spot any time I’m around.

We are on the Spoon River Drive and decided to come into the restaurant for a late lunch. It was delicious and the people were fantastic! José was our waiter and he was so nice! His smile brightened our day! The good was awesome too!

My family visited on Saturday after a wrestling tournament and each one of us tried a different dish. All were delicious, the staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was very fun and welcoming. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Canton!

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in my travels, every staff member is awesome, but my favorite is Jorge. Everything I order is made to perfection. Drinks are on point and amazing. I will always come here when I am in Canton Illinois. They deserve 10 stars ⭐️

Visited after attending a fundraiser to grab a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was clean and bright. The food was excellent. The California chicken was outstanding. Our server, Bella was sweet, attentive and got us everything we needed. I cant wait to go back and try other menu items.

If you are from Texas. Don’t eat the food. Maybe drinks and not sure what is even close to being Mexican food. La comida no tiene sabor. It looked good, it really did.

Camino Real is a very good value for your money. If you are in a budget, it’s daily lunch special runs $5.99 and most lunch entrees are $7.99. I had the lunch #5 which was an enchilada, quesadilla and chalupa. The enchilada has a hefty amount of ground beef, but I wasn’t too fond of the sweeter enchilada sauce. The quesadilla was stuffed with cheese and the chalupa came with a crispy shell, both were very good. Service was fast and friendly and there is a handicapped parking spot at the front door.
