I took myself out this day for a little shopping and ME time. I thoroughly enjoyed my glass of wine and shrimp. And of course I was so happy about the bread with the herb olive oil. The only thing I was bummed about was that I was about 45 minutes too early for the happy hour so I had to pay full price for the wine, which isn’t the cheapest, But hey, I’m allowed to splurge on myself every once in a while! Will definitely be back. Also, I believe if you sign up for their emails, you will get a free appetizer so I will be sure to do that next time as well.

Overall, this visit to California Pizza Kitchen was the exception rather than the rule for us. The staff was clearly understaffed and extremely busy, but it was the day after Christmas, so that’s completely understandable, and our waitress was still very kind and did her best under the circumstances. Most of the food was fine and what we’ve come to expect from CPK. Unfortunately, the new steak salad was a major miss and should really be reconsidered—it was an inedible combination of cold potato wedges, chunks of burnt deep-fried potatoes, and mushy lettuce drenched in dressing. Everything else was solid, but that salad was genuinely awful and stood out for all the wrong reasons.

We drove 45 minutes so I could have my CPK salad. And it didn’t disappoint. It was so delicious. I have been eating the same salad for the past 25 years. From Calif to Hawaii to Georgia and now Florida. I highly recommend the Italian Chopped Salad it’s so fresh and light tasting.

Gabe was a wonderful server. Everyone was super friendly from the host, the server to the manager that greeted us. We drove 45 minutes for my favorite Thai crunch salad! The customer service made it that much better. I’d love a CPK in PSL

Last Tuesday, we dined at CPK around 7:30 PM and were served by a server named Sarah. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. Sarah seemed rushed and impatient, pushing us to place our order quickly. We ordered the salmon piccata and a pizza; both arrived cold, and the salmon was dry—requiring extra sauce to make it enjoyable.
As we were finishing, Sarah immediately brought over to-go boxes and put the payment device right in my face, insisting we pay before we were done. We still had our plates and full wine glasses, but she kept pressuring me, saying the restaurant was closing and she needed to close out the bill. There was still about 40 minutes left before closing, and other tables were still dining.
When I refused to pay immediately, she walked away with an attitude. I spoke with the manager on duty, Alonzo, who initially apologized and said he’d speak with her. When I was ready to cash out, I asked him to take care of it, the manager did mention he comped the extra sauce from the bill—which was the first time I learned we were being charged for it. He then questioned whether the server had really said the restaurant was closing and if she actually put the mobile POS device in my face. Overall, I don’t feel the manager handled the situation professionally.
We have been loyal CPK customers for over 15 years, but after this experience, we will not be returning to this location.
I’ve never felt so rushed or pressured to pay before finishing a meal. Sadly, this experience ruined what should have been an enjoyable dinner.

This is a very nice place. We ordered the works pizza and it was amazing! The crust was crispy and just right. Everything tasted great, they brought out bread before the pizza with olive oil, that was nice. I would say this is one of the better places to eat in the mall if you have the time. It’s a little crowded in there but they have table and booth seating. We had a booth.

I have eaten at this establishment several times and they have messed up my order before and they fixed it, this time they messed it up again. I asked for the Wedge with extra egg, extra bacon and 2 sides of grilled chicken. I asked for no tomatoes because my stomach is sensitive. He brought my meal, we added shaved cheese, and it had tomatoes on it. I sent it back. When he brought back my salad it had the original bacon from my first salad on it, along with the same wedge. He said they made me a fresh salad. He asked if I wanted cheese on it, I said no, clearly I could see it had the melted cheese from my first salad on it. The waiter was good, but the food prep staff needs to do better. We were charged full price, I feel I should have been comped or at least a small percentage off, however it is what it is and it’s very disappointing to see what used to be a decent establishment just doing the bare minimum when it comes to creating a guest experience.

Walked by CPK many times over the years and always peaked my curiosity. So I finally took the step and decided to give it a try.
They had an excellent staff on duty. Very friendly and helpful.
The menu had seemingly endless delicious options which made it very hard to choose just one thing! So I chose three!
The street corn was very good and more than enough to share.
Where to begin on the salads, first off, they’re huge! Heaps of greens and veggies and the chicken was delicious! I’ll be trying another next time!
The pizza was delicious! Loaded with veggies(which I love). Everything tasted farm fresh and I ended up getting a take and bake to go, which was also delicious!
I’ll definitely be going back.
Side note. The restaurant was spotless, I glanced the kitchen over once or twice and it was pristine which gets major kudos from me. Tables were very clean also.
I tip my hat to whomever runs this location. Food was good, establishment was clean and felt inviting, staff was friendly and helpful.

Really great experience. The food and our server, Tran Johnson, were awesome. We choose the valentines special, which includes 1 appetizer ,2 entries, and 1 dessert. Love the crispness of the pizza. The chips with the white corn guacamole were great. And the grand finale the red velvet cake with vanilla ice cream. Definitely will come back.
