Having driven past this place a few times I rarely get a chance to stop, but I must say I am glad I did. The transformation of the old Arby’s into Cali-Burger was definitely a right on time and hit the spot, Stop! It’s a “fresh, not fancy” burger joint that has a wide variety of burger choices and other menu items. The restaurant maintains a humble, fast-casual vibe that still echoes its fast-food roots, and caters to NC State students and Raleigh locals. Made to order freshness is key for me and if you’re in the area looking an an amazingly good bite. I highly recommend Cali-Burger.

One night on the way back from state fair 2025 we decided to get Cali burger, & ordered 3 burgers with 3 fries as a meal and forgot ab the fries and drove off, when the owner got in his car, pulled up in front of us, stopped, ran, and personally delivered the fries to me and my friends. Went back a couple weeks later and reminded him of the experience in drive-through and had a good laugh, anyways lol 10/10 food and service never disappoints.

It was a pleasurable experience to have had the opportunity to have visited this place twice in a two week span. The quality, quantity as well as portion sizes per menu item were great! The food was very delicious and filling. Coming from FL where halal burgers are a far reach, this satisfied my taste buds! It is a nice spot for all ages to visit and it is a great and ideal locations for families to meet and greet. My only complaint would be that the female toilet area needs better attending too and the supplies in the bathroom needs to be thoroughly checked. The eating and dining area just needs to be a little bit more tidy prior to when people take their seat. Overall wonderful experience and will definitely visit back again and again whenever in NC.

I got the western bacon burger with no tomato. There was a tomato on the burger and that is my only complaint. The bacon was the perfect consistency. The onion ring was crispy and the burger was cooked to perfection.
I asked the brother at the register what was his favorite and he said the western bacon and Cali melt! I will def try the Cali melt on my next visit!

This place is definitely getting added to my lunch stops. They were quick and efficient time wise between ordering and receiving our food. It also is amazing quality, the onions are crisp, the tomatoes are juicy, the pickles are crunchy, and the veggie patty was the perfect texture. I also got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake and it takes like they poured a cup fresh out of the box and blended it up with creamy goodness. They also added basically a single scoop ice cream cones worth on top. The Mac and cheese bites were also delicious, cheesy and gooey and crunchy all at the same time. My boyfriend got their fries and the chicken sandwich. The fries have a nice crinkle cut and melt in your mouth and are paired nicely with some Cajun seasoning. My favorite though has to be the paper folded around the sandwiches, it is perfectly folded to hold while eating. It also was only $32 for all of that, honestly a steal.

First time ordering from cali burger. I was impressed the burgers were pretty good.The fries were cold but I did order through door dash and there were like twenty minutes away from my house.So that’s not on them. Got a burger for my dog too.And he enjoyed it. Thanks guys for good food.

Visited once from out of town. Got a #6 jalapeno burger combo. No frills. Solid burger as is with toppings. Crinkle cut fries were excellent. Both fries and burger were very fresh. Combo cost $11 + tax. They do use Styrofoam which is not the greatest choice.
Restaurant was clean. Weird use of the internal space but nothing wrong with it. Staff were friendly.
