Although the food was very delicious, $ presented in an artistic way, my family & I thought it was a bit overpriced for the portions served.
The salmon special was amazing, but my piece in comparison to my aunt’s, was just about half in size. My husband’s portion of seabass was the size of a
12 year olds hand, and it was over $30.
But everything was fresh, nicely presented, & tasted great.
Make sure you order an appetizer due to the size of the meals.
The waitress Vera was friendly, & so was the hostess. We didn’t go at a busy time, & service took long. We also ordered an appetizer, & they forgot to bring it.
Definitely worth another visit, but I hope they can make the prices better.

I went there today for lunch. The food was delicious. The dining room had a romantic atmosphere. The service was excellent! Beatriz our server was very attentive and always checking on us. It was incredible busy but somehow she still managed to give a great service! We will definitely go back!

If you are looking for an authentic Portuguese cuisine, this is a good option! The food is delicious, including many traditional Portuguese dishes like fish soup, bacalhau and octopus salad. For drinks, they offer a variety of Portuguese wine to accompany your meal. The prices are reasonable and the service is good.
I would recommend it.

While everyone in my party of 6 enjoyed their respective meals, I wish my beef kebab was served hotter. As it was, it was served lukewarm to me. I suspect it was because it was the first meal ready of the 6, and sat waiting until the others were done before they were served to our table.
Service was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance is nice. Prices are fair.

Never had a bad meal here. We really enjoy the shrimp mozambique. But my absolute favorite is the baked octopus. Never had better anywhere. It’s very tender, done in a nice olive oil with potatoes and sweet melt in your mouth onions. I usually get some Mozambique sauce to dip the octopus in. It’s fantastic that way! The seafood paella was also huge and had a lobster tail and plenty of seafood in it. The sauce was just slightly spicy and very good as well. Update (Dec 2025): back for shrimp Mozambique and it was fabulous. The new owner didn’t change the recipe

We had the house steak , and The baked stuffed fish. The big stuffed fish was over the top and the house steak. could’ve used a better cut of steak, but the flavor was delicious. I would highly recommend eating there. The prices were pretty good. I would definitely go back again.

Haven’t been to this place in 15 years and I remembered why. This place is absolutely horrible. Ordered shrimp Mozambique and fish and chips with a side of Mozambique sauce extra spicy extra garlic. If you like dirty water butter flavored sauce this is the place for you. Sent my food back and walked out . This is not authentic Portuguese food its the bottom of the barrel. Bread was extremely cold . I’ll stick with barcellos in tiverton.

During our two week visit to Rhode Island/ Massachusetts, we went out to eat at quite a few restaurants and this place showed us the best hospitality out of them all!!!! It was the only time I got that special feeling while eating at a restaurant. Unfortunately, most places now are staffed with passive aggressive/angry people, which I can understand having worked in the food service industry for decades. But here we were treated with grace and care and on top of that: the food was really nice!! I hope to come back again next time. Thank you for being so welcoming and letting us put sunflowers on the table and bring our own apple pie for dessert which was my grandmother’s wish for her 80th birthday that we were there to celebrate. Also the singing in Portuguese was very special and beautiful. Grazie

This used to be my absolute favorite Portuguese restaurant in all of Fall River, but ever since the ownership changed, it has completely lost its charm, service, and sense of hospitality. What was once a cozy, dependable spot for great food and friendly service has turned into a major disappointment.
Our experience was awful from start to finish. It took over an hour for our food to come out, and during that entire time, no one offered an update or apology. To make matters worse, our main dishes arrived before our appetizers, which we never received until we specifically asked about them. When we asked the waiter what happened, his response was, “Well, do you still want them?” We said yes, and mentioned that one of us also ordered soup. He just said “I know,” and stormed off without another word. Completely unprofessional.
What made it even more frustrating was watching a couple who came in well after us — and another table of four next to us — get their appetizers and full meals before we did. The waiter, who barely acknowledged our table, was suddenly incredibly attentive to the new couple. He checked on them constantly, while ignoring the rest of us who had been waiting for over an hour. Then, to top it off, the chef came out to personally speak with that couple, clearly giving them special treatment while the rest of us were left wondering if our food would ever arrive.
It’s honestly heartbreaking to see how far this place has fallen. The food used to be worth recommending to everyone I knew — now, it’s hard to even want to come back. Between the rude service, lack of organization, and blatant favoritism, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years.
Sadly, after years of being a loyal customer, I won’t be returning.
