The guacamole was good and I also got a small side of sour cream. However, the chips themselves seemed a stale and didn’t have any flavor of lime. To be honest, I was skeptical of the chips from the beginning when they gave me the bag from the display area near the cash register as opposed to the rack of chips behind the counter.
Another thing to note, although the inside of the chipotle was well setup with a lot of seating, I noticed a lot of the tables were very dirty. And the beverage area was also dirty.
This wasn’t a positive experience at this Chipotle so I probably won’t be back. Also based on the recent portion sizes I’ve been seeing at multiple locations, I probably won’t be getting Chipotle anytime soon.
She didn’t properly wrap the tortilla in foil, and when we requested sauce — which is typically complimentary at other locations — she said we would have to pay extra for it. We ended up spending $18 and still felt like we were being treated like an inconvenience.
Additionally, she handled our tortilla without wearing gloves, which raised concerns about food safety and cleanliness.
What was most concerning is that she said she was the manager. Leadership sets the tone for the entire store. If the manager doesn’t model professionalism or a customer-first attitude, it’s difficult to expect employees to do so either.
Overall, this experience felt rushed, unwelcoming, and disappointing.
When we got home, we realized one of our orders was incorrect. First, the sauce was missing, then the Dr. Pepper was completely flat. On top of that, one of the meals was made wrong. We had a total of four orders: one burrito and three bowls: two with steak and one with barbacoa. Instead of one of the steak bowls, they repeated the barbacoa order.
I tried using the online help service to fix the issue, but it said it was unavailable, which was very frustrating because we were hoping to resolve the problem quickly and pick up a corrected order. Since the online support wasn’t working, we had to drive back to the restaurant to figure out what happened.
The manager did fix the order for us, apologized for the mistake, and made everything right. My main complaint is about the online service. It made it much more difficult to address the issue, and it honestly would have been faster to just speak with someone in person. I also tried calling the location to give them a heads-up about our order, but it took forever to get through on the phone.
Overall, the in-person staff resolved everything well, but the online ordering and support process made the situation far more frustrating than it needed to be.
Also found a few hairs on it that were black and the other part was white. Absolutely disgusting. I ended up throwing it away because of it. If I could get a refund, I would but I honestly don’t even want to go there again because of how dirty it was as well.
To be honest the staff weren’t rude or anything, but their food and building
aren’t enough to have me satisfied.
Update, Chipotle corp reached out via email. They offered a bogo, buy one get one. Just one. Great job Chipotle. A $250 order that was flatlined due to terrible service and had no where near the amount of food we paid for and they offer a buy one get one. Great job guys this is really making me want to come back. Hopefully someone reads this and Chipotle looses some business because they DO NOT CARE about their customers or the fact that they ruined an entire dealerships lunch that day… Thank you again, for absolutely nothing.
