Reviews
•Spicy Gumbo was fantastic.
•Fried shrimp were as good as any coastal seafood joint. Super fresh.
•Shrimp Po Boy was excellent & HUGE!
•Best Surprise: Philly Cheesesteak! Was sliced NY Strip. -Not a ton of meat, but enough to fill you up. Bread super fresh too! (Was so good forgot to take a picture first)
•Military Friendly too!
Our server was supersweet & very attentive.
Will be back for sure!
The music was also really great. It was nice to sip and hear some live music. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the ladies restroom. Sometimes those things are a toss-up at restaurants.
I look forward to coming back for more live music, drinks and to try more dishes.
Gumbo: average and a bit salty.
No ginger wings were available.
No live music in the wintertime.
Happy hour drink prices are good. You can order any beverage for 25% off.
This is a cozy place to go, chat, and hang out with friends if you’re in the area.
I ordered the fried calamari and char grilled oysters. The food came out pretty quickly and was good. The oysters could’ve been cooked a little longer. They tasted like raw oysters topped with baked Parmesan.
I will definitely be back for the live music and dinner.
To our delight a local community of people with various musical styles began to perform one at a time.
The food was amazing.
The music was great. We got there around 6 and ended up not leaving till they were closing the doors.
Highly reccomend.
Shrimp PO Boy, fail. 1 star. It was tasty, shrimp had good flavor but one of the most basic things that nearly all restaurants outside of New Orleans get wrong, is the bread. It is NEVER served on a soft hoagie roll. Bread needs to be crisp, tough but soft on the inside French bread. Normally no big deal but when your specialty is Cajun food and list a Po boy on the menu, getting one of the main ingredients is important. Other wise its just a expensive sandwich. Will try again and update review based on other dishes.
