This is a true family Chinese restaurant. You get the vibe once you get inside. However, be aware that they will be more friendly with Chinese people than with other people (happens in many places, not only here), so if you are not fine with it and get irritated easily, please avoid it for your own good.

Some servers here doesn’t understand English so you’ll have to be patience with them. I had to flagged down the server to place our dine in order. Their menu has two sides and apparently they forgot about the items (half roast duck, bbq pork and a seafood dish) we ordered on the other side of the dim sum side. The food here is ok. Don’t order the Korean style short beef as it’s mostly fat. The stir fried beef and pepper was good. The dim sum items here is about $1 cheaper than Phoenix Restaurant.

Was craving some dumplings. Enjoyed the food here. Nothing to complain. Forgot to take pictures of food before eating. Place is in China town and there is parking near by with 3 hours free validation at the resturant

Went here for the first time on Tuesday night. They have dimsum and big plates. Get the smelt fish fry (pictured) and peapod tips with garlic sauce. These are my favorites and I always get them at Chinese places whenever available. It did not disappoint. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor at the south end of the plaza. There is a maître D that coherently speaks and understand English. As for the rest of the staff, sometimes charade works. They are neat and well-dresses though. Whatever you do, just don’t look at the flooring/ carpet.

We were there on a Sunday morning for dim sum. When you go to dim sum you go for the experience that goes along with the food. The food was only just okay, when you actually got it. The experience at Cai was absolutely horrible. The food carts were very slow to come out of the kitchen. It was busy, but not that busy. When you wanted to flag a waitress down because you needed something they weren’t around.

Food was amazing! Some choice’s looked stacked in the photos which they weren’t in person…. Service and menu really dropped the stars for me.

We went there for dim sum. The restaurant was almost full and the noise level was very high. Service was slow and the air conditioning inadequate. We ordered rice rolls with beef, mixed beef tripe stew, rice with pork rib bits and olive leaf, and Malaysian char kwei till. The first was ok, the second very heavy on the spice, the last two extremely oily. The last dish was a completely wrong description. Phoenix offer much better and authentic food.

The food was amazing even our 1 and 5 year old were trying everything. Everything was great and there is a wide variety of dish options.

It was fine. I’m glad they validate parking for me to pay $2 instead of the standard $11.
