Went once and got the Chef salad. It was delicious. Next time I went I had the three meat breakfast. I had the fried tenderloin (which was the best I have ever had), link sausage and country ham with scrambled eggs, hash browns and grits. Best breakfast I have had in a long time.

10/10 the food was delicious and our waiter was on the ball, probably came by at least 5 times during our time making sure we were okay. But it was so hot like it was 75 outside but the restaurant had to be 80 or more. We will definitely be back but hope they can figure out how to work the thermostat.

Came here on their 1st week open and left without getting any attention to be seated. Tried it again this morning and everything went smoothly. Delicious hot fresh food at great prices with very friendly staff. Jaya was an excellent server!

We thought this location would offer the same great food we get from the Lexington location, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. When we ordered the same specials we get from Lexington and we’re told a higher total for cost, we were taken back. So looking at the menu we noticed Midway’s prices are higher. We continued with our takeout order and went home. This is where the real disappointment comes. The chicken pot pie is much smaller than the ones I get from the location in Lexington, it is barely deep enough to cover the tip of the fork. Additionally, it was undercooked so I had to place it into the oven at home. It was already sad to pay the higher price, but to get much less is pitiful. The sides and bread are smaller portions for both specials we ordered. The country style steak sides are maybe a few spoons worth. Not sure who made these plates or who decides the portions, but the drastic difference from Lexington is strange. If spending $11+ for a meal is on the agenda, the Lexington location or another restaurant will be what happens in the future. I am unsatisfied with the small portions received for such a high cost. Compared to other locations or restaurants, there is more out there for your money.

A solid 4-stars. The breakfasts are stellar and served all day. I tried the beef tips and rice with a side salad. The food was barely luke-warm and the lettuce was brown and wet. Same for the lettuce on my friends sandwich. When we told the server, she told the owner, and nothing happened. Nothing off the bill, no apologies, nada. No more lunches.

We were heading north and found this great diner.
Service was good. Menu was huge.
Clam chowder was very good.
Country beef tips over rice and gravy and Cucumber salad great.
Nice thick chicken breast for the chicken sandwich. Broccoli casserole was great.
A bit dated but worth the stop.

First time visiting Cagney’s. Had baked fettuccine carbonara and it was delicious! Husband had fried pork chops, broccoli casserole and stewed apples. Said it was delicious. Staff so friendly. No waiting. So good, we came back the next day for breakfast!! I had country ham, eggs, grits and biscuit. Damn good!! Husband had smoked sausage, eggs, grits and biscuit. Sooo good. This little place was a gem! Thank you!
