Found this gem when visiting the city for a Bills game. Loved the vibe here! Perfect for talking to strangers. We came here for wine one night and then for coffee and breakfast sandwiches the next two mornings.
Right next door to a cute bookstore too!

Elmwood Village wouldn’t be Elmwood Village without Caffè Aroma. A true melting pot of Buffalonians, I’ve met so many interesting people just hanging out on the patio. It’s a great option for being “out” without the typical bar scene. My go-to spot in the city.

Had a great breakfast here with a former coworker. Great atmosphere and the Americano was delicious. BEC was just fine but I would try the quiche next time

Drove in from the Roc, the Cafe here is quality. Fresh, clean, bold yet not bitter. I really love coffee, it’s always better when I travel abroad and the latte I had here felt like I was outside of the US. It’s very cozy and close knit inside in a warm and welcoming way. It’s very cleanly and despite the crowd my latte was out pretty quickly.

Hasn’t changed much in the last 20 years and that is okay with me. Such wonderful memories coming here for soccer games in the 2010’s. Its new owner has been working there since I can remember, is supremely dedicated and her attention to detail is apparent. She really does love the place and it shows in the decor and service . Staff is always friendly and attentive. And the coffee here is very STRONG indeed. The greatest location in the city for people watching, dog petting, and just good vibes in general. God has blessed this establishment in our beloved Elmwood Village.

Coffee. Very good. Smooth, but to a fault. Little lacking in area of robustness. Not a ton of flavor but lighter and drinkable.
Best (by far, because has anyone ever had it?) cinnamon water. The hot chocolates presentation was great (bonus points for the mini spoon) but half the cup was whipped cream and I wish it wasn’t because it was really good. Really nice people working and they were nice and quick. The seating was a little crammed, still cozy though. And if anyone was wondering there isn’t really an aroma

Overpriced, extremely busy and takes ages to get you the simplest of orders. I think the only reason it remains in business is due to the uni students that come to it because of the atmosphere. We asked for our drinks in a mug – they gave us half of them in a mug and the other half in a to-go cup. We asked them to toast our croissant, and they burnt it to a crisp.

Nice little coffee shop. Kind of cramped with tables butted up right next to each other and its very quiet. They have Italian sipping chocolate which is really nice. I love that they have poetry readings.
