Cafe Stella is a casual scratch Italian kitchen located in downtown Flagstaff, Arizona serving exquisite family recipes from Vasto, Italy. We select fresh intentional ingredients and put love into every dish that we prepare to make your experience feel like you’ve just landed in Italy. Our cafe also serves fresh bakery items and Italian espresso and coffee. Come see us for our amazing brunch on weekends with bottomless mimosas and charcuterie board bloody mary samplers. We are happy to offer a co-working space and free wifi for paying customers, pasta making classes, private dinner room rental, and a build your own flower bouquet selection.

Everything in the restaurant is amazing! From the food to the servers and even to the cooks who we could hear listing to music and having a good time in the back you can tell they care about everyone who walks tru that door and are trying there hardest to provide a fun restaurant area in flagstaff they have definitely succeeded in my books the energy in this place is immaculate! And not to mention the total redo the building has it looks amazing total obsessed! I will definitely be back and I recommend this place to everyone family brunch and dinner, date nights and hanging out with friends I love it!

What a cute and unique find! We got the breakfast board and it was worth every penny. The pancakes are so good it’s unreal, the coffee is amazing and the service was beyond incredible. Would recommend.

Fantastic!! Delicious fresh made pasta. Looks simple, but the flavors are incredible. The prices are even better. The environment is relaxed, easy going and not pretentious, unlike neighboring Teatro. The lemon ricotta pasta w/ chicken was fantastic. Come here, eat and be satisfied!!!

Brunch was a massive bummer. I paid $17 before tax and tip for a tiny portion. I got the eggs bacon and French toast combo but what I actually got was two sad pieces of bacon, two bland eggs and two pieces of French toast that was actually just one piece cut in half. It was a long wait for no reward, expensive and not worth my time. I want to come back and try the house made pasta but it’s probably going to be a bit before I even consider it.

Phenomenal food experience! Homemade pasta, fresh modern take on old world family recipes. Large portions. Best tiramisu ever. Very friendly service and informal vibe but still feels very special. Cool patio in the back and front window table great for people watching. It’s a gem in downtown Flagstaff not to be missed!

This new restaurant is a nice addition to downtown and it is great to see what they did to the old diner. We were there on night six and were cautioned by staff they may be slow due to just opening. They did a good job managing expectations in a new restaurant.

We ordered the garlic bread as an appetizer. Unfortunately, it had no garlic. The salmon with artichokes and capers was dry. Husband had spaghetti n meatballs. It was OK. We really wanted to love Stella’s. But we just cannot. The waitstaff was very personable.

It is difficult to find authentic Italian food in most areas. Cafe Stella meets all standards with excellent food (any of the pasta dishes) vibe and service. Our party ordered the Scaffeti pasta, the pasta with meatballs and the Tuscan salmon. In addition we ordered the appetizer dish of Bruschetta and the garlic toast with marinara sauce. All the food was delectable. The marinara was rich in taste with no shortcuts taken. Great food. Plan to come back again when in the area.
