The food was absolutely delicious! very fresh served quickly and hot even during busy rush. Ambiance is cute, especially if you like Historically Preserved spaces. old wood, high ceiling..it used to be grist mill and it still has the gain elevator outside for you to see! Back to the food. The Sushi was awesome and the Pad Thai flavorful and authentic & The Beef Penang Curry so good we ordered double so one we could take home! oh yea, the staff is very hip, friendly and cute. I totally recommend!

This place is a scam in some of the way, went to celebrate Mother’s Day and they have in their menu that get one and other one is free sushi. We have asked if I am ordering sushi for $14 can I get the second that is also $14. At the end of the bill they much the one with $14 and second with $8. And we have particularly ask.

Let me just say this was probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. They have a awesome menu and everything we ordered was executed better than we imagined. It’s such a relief to know that there’s good sushi in the area, and the cooked food is great too. The sea bass was amazing and the Kobe burger and fries kept my nephew happy(I stole a few fries and was a little jealous). I like the local character and the fact that it’s located in an old grain mill it gives it a certain type of atmosphere, although it is a little cozy so if you come in with a larger party I recommend making a reservation.

It’s just ok. The pad thai had a funny taste—sort of too sweet and too sour, both. The floor is so sticky our shoes were adhering to it. We will likely be back and try something different, but it isn’t the best food you’ll ever eat.

Been to Cafe Sado before and it was great, loved the atmosphere and food. Finally got a chance to come back and a lot has changed…the table was sticky and the chair was tattered, the lemonade was watery, the sushi didn’t taste as fresh, the fried ice cream which is our favorite didn’t have the crispness it once did and the waitress seemed like she didn’t really want us there.

So let me start by saying how rude the waitress was. She came over with an attitude and took forever to take our order. The food came out before the sushi. I’ve had better sushi at wegmans. So unprofessional my food came out wrong I ordered beef ribs with the potatoes and veggies. Now it looked good but the vegetables came with two broccoli stalks and the rest was green and red peppers the rib was not it fat the salad was over dressed with wilted lettuce and very salty. I can say so much more on what the waitress was saying but it doesn’t matter she said she was quitting tonight. I spoke with the owner she took the meal off. After she pleaded her case on why it was so much fat on the rib. Terrible experience will never go back. This isn’t a real Thai restaurant don’t let them fool you .

Pleasant and tasty, dishes not all fully hitting the mark of what I expect them to be, but still good food.

The sushi was fire but my dad got scallops that were 3 little tiny “scallops” , they were chewy rubbery, we got sat in this little room in the corner of the building with a tv, it was nice but we waited damn near and hour to order, the restaurant wasn’t even that busy at the time, needless to say my family won’t be coming back but I’ll just comeback for the sushi everything else is just a sad disappointment, building looks nice though

Good food and a great atmosphere! The building has a lot of history. They are often crowded but worth the wait – try to make reservations ahead of time. I would recommend it.
