I love Cafe Rio, however this particular location could use some help. Coming on weekends, the employee who works the drive through seems disgruntled to be working. Short and very snippy when taking orders, like I’m bring rushed. I normally order the nachos with queso and the chicken tacos. At this location, even after my request for queso cheese, they only put shredded cheese and the tacos where so soggy liquid was pooling in the foil.

Friendly staff. Upon entering I was immediately greeted. The line went by fairly quickly. I was concerned with the pico de gallo and lettuce containers as the tomatoes were super mushy and there seemed to be just tomatoes and nothing else. The lettuce was being refilled right before they asked me if I wanted any. They put new lettuce into the lettuce cambro that had mushy lettuce and an inch of water in it.

I stopped in for a breakfast burrito. I wish I wouldn’t have. It had like no eggs was served in a smaller plate not the normal plate size. Which I thought was weird since I paid the same as a normal burrito.

Don’t plan on using a pickup spot to quickly pickup a mobile or web order. 3 labeled spots for pickup were full with empty cars and nobody was anywhere waiting once I gave up on parking close and made my way in. Food from this location has been great but the pickup is a joke. Order online and expect to use the drive thru, hah, you have to park and come inside. If the people actually preparing and assembling the food didn’t do as good of a job as they do, I’d just switch to another Cafe Rio further away from my home, because it’s never a smooth pickup at this particular location. Maybe eat onsite and it will be a better experience ♂️

Cafe rio needs to do better maine…. This some violation.. this the second time I order fire grilled chicken only to get “PORK” and I’m MUSLIM….. I don’t like complaining bout food… that’s why I just let things be .. and buy something else.. But I really like the Mexican food… but they need to respect customers money and religious preferences…. I’m supposed to be mad … irate… because I took a bite … but plz fix this issue..

Cafe rio is my favorite i’ve come to this location before without any issues through the drive thru although this time I order my usual quesadilla & it had barely any meat, the other half was only tortilla nothing in it? It was soggier than ever, & the salad is usually seperate from the quesadilla, it was right on it making it even soggier! I’m very disappointed considering I used a birthday coupon for this meal.

This location has gone downhill the last few months. Portion sizes have shrink to 1/4 of what they used to be. They now charge for everything. When you order chips and queso, they fill the container half full with queso sauce. I wanted to order Birria beef tacos, but the guy in front of me did, and they put a quarter size piece of meat on the taco. My husband always has to ask them to add more rice,beans, and meat because they are skimping on everything! It used to be an awesome place to go, but now it is just a rip-off. Prices have gone up and portions have been substantially decreased. This is the only location I have noticed this happening at. I’m not sure what happened, but I will be taking my business else where!

I am severely disappointed. In ordering extra sour cream for my tacos the employees made the questionable decision to place the sour cream on the tin foil wrapped around the tacos. This is quite saddening, my wife and I normally love this place. But lately it has been subpar at best. With wrong orders, lack of any customer service and now this. I don’t think they could get any lower in my opinion. Truly saddening I hope it gets better in the future but that is highly doubtful.
