We’ve eaten at a lot of Cafe Rio restaurants over the years… This was the best food and service that I’ve had in YEARS at Cafe Rio. Great, fresh food. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff who even wished me a happy Father’s Day. Great experience. Thank you!

I’m very angry with having to paying for lettuce so thin it looks chewed up and paying for steak that’s as thin as a pencil with barely any in the salad.

Fine I’ll say it. Café Rio has fallen.

I have always been a huge Cafe Rio fan. Anytime the debate of costa vida or cafe Rio I was always the one advocating for cafe Rio and why it’s so much better than costa. I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY CAFE RIO SUCKS NOW. We get to there and the kiosk doesn’t work with rewards points on the app(come on, even McDonald’s does that), but no biggy, they’re not even busy so we’ll just get some assistance from the staff. After waiting a few minutes for someone to actually help us they come over and we give them the order and LO AND BEHOLD, THEY ARE OUT OF SWEET PORK and need to heat some up even though they don’t seem to be busy and people just seem to be standing around. Granted the staff were friendly and not rude so I appreciate that. So we wait another 10 minutes and finally get our food. We go home open our food to eat and there is a LIVING LADY BUG just crawling around one of our salads! A BUG IN OUR SALAD?! Come on Cafe Rio! What the heck??? How could you have stooped this low!? We call them to ask for a refund because neither of us really feels like eating these salads anymore and they blame it on the supplier but say they’ll give us a refund. However the lettuce in these salads was obviously not cut or washed well because the pieces were way bigger than usual and they was a freaking lady bug in them! Maybe that’s the supplier’s fault and in that case get a new supplier. You don’t see Costa struggling in that regard.

We’ve eaten here often, so I’m somewhat willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but I’m super dissapointed with the food and experience this time. I drove through and ordered two adult meals and one kids meal. I gave the worker my barcode since I had a $20 reward that I was using to pay the majority. She scanned it and then asked for my card, which I gave to cover the rest. She never gave me a total after the reward, I should have checked. We left and I rralized they forgot the kids drink, but it was too late to go back. I forgot as well so partially my fault. There was no receipt in the bag and when I checked my account I had been charged full price for the meal. No rewards were added. And then to make things worse, the portions were RIDICULOUS. I know shrink-flation is a thing but my tacos were literally kid sized as you can see in the picture, and half the portion of rice and beans as normal. After all of this I’m still deciding whether I want to go back to this location.

In PG especially if you go to cafe rio after 9:30 pm to get food from the Drive Thru the food doesn’t look like the right portions looks very messy , and almost no protein even though I order extra shredded chicken , they seem like they work in a hurry to leave So , work with more love and serve your customers better , even if it ‘s late !

Purchased a steak burrito in the drive-thru. It came with probably 2-3 small pieces of steak, a bunch of beans, and hard/crunchy rice. Very disappointing. I usually like Cafe Rio but this experience definitely left a lot to be desired. It’s tough to eat something that gross but I also didn’t want to throw away something that cost $14+. Very gross!

Just stopped in again today. Areisha always says hi and calls me by name and waives to me. She’s perfect host. She’s here like 6 days a week and is always happy and busy working and keeping everyone in line. Javier made my food. He always takes good care of me, calls me by name. Today he hooked me up with some extra sauce that he knows I like. It’s just those personal touches and attention to detail that make this my favorite location.

I usually love the coconut shrimp tacos but this lunch was underwhelming to say the least. After paying $14 for the “Thursday special” which included 7 small shrimp split between 2 corn tortillas and my $1.49 side of Mango Salsa spread throughout my to go bag, I needed to swing by the gas station for a protein drink in order to feel satiated.

Customer service is lacking, we pay for sour cream and guacamole and they don’t bother telling us when they’re out of either but charge us for it because we asked for it. All of the tables are always dirty. At the drink bar you will find at least 2 out of the 4 drinks always empty. Not to mention they’re always low on forks. This seems to be consistent over the past few times we’ve been here and we usually have to clean our own table before we can even sit.
