Believe the hype about this cafe! This is a great spot to start your morning with friendly service a relaxed atmosphere and amazing offerings. Mall isn’t really fully open yet and just at sunrise it is a beautiful and peaceful oasis.I tried a breakfast burrito and an horchata latte and it was the perfect choice. I commuted early to avoid traffic and killed time here before heading to work. I got here right at open and sat in a quiet alcove in the corner. Expect a wait if you are getting hot food but worth it!

My first time here was great! Amazing customer service with an atmosphere that reminded me of my Nina’s kitchen. The food smelled fantastic (I will try it on my next visit) AND THE ATOLE WAS GREAT!! I will be coming back for sure

It’s like walking into your tias kitchen! Food is made fresh to order. Gets super busy before stores open as a lot of employees from the plaza come get their breakfast and coffee before their shift. Not a lot of room to sit inside but plenty outside. It was cold when we went and got lucky with the table tucked away in the corner.

We stopped here for coffee and dessert, the place is a bit old and needs to be cleaned and dusted, in general the restaurant is cozy, there are only three tables inside but more seating is available outside, but if you stay outside be prepared to smell smoking or weed from people passing by. We ordered Expresso and sweet bread, the coffee was really good and the bread was okay, not really amazing, lots of pictures on the wall from famous people, specially Jeni Rivera, but this area is dirty and definitely should be cleaned.
The restroom is clean and lots of free parking is available.

Cute little cafe in the Plaza Mexico with lots of patio seating! Surrounded by potted plants and a nice view of the fountain. Cafe de olla & breakfast burrito both quite good. Only downside is you need to pay a quarter to access the bathroom.

Hi everyone! Their cajeta champurrado is good and their bread with beans (moyete) is good too. However, someone who used their restroom told me there’s no sink to wash his hands. This really upsets me. And he had to eat his food with just having finished using the restroom. This is totally unacceptable. We are in the USA not in the mountains ↔️

I can say this is one of the best is “cafe de olla” I’ve had it starts at 3.00-3.75 . No complaints on my part . The ladies are real nice too good customer service. The atolle is good as well they have different flavors I’ve only had the vanilla and strawberry highly recommended. The “molletes” are good simple food but good (bolillo with beans garnished with cheese and salsa) but note it does take not because they are slow but because it’s made from scratch and I say worth the wait.
They take phone orders as well. I always come back for the “cafe de olla” . There’s plenty of outdoor seating and are open early. Located in The outside of Plaza Mexico.

There food is delicious and the Lady Cooks are noble… not a great place to have breakfast tho ALL the windows are open and the sun is too strong hits all the tables.. I feel pretty bad for the ladies in the heat and on top of that the sun hits there faces…
Recommended TO GO OR come at night.

I’m so glad we gave this place a real try. I had previously stop by for a Frappuccino and it was pretty good, so when my husband and I were in the mood for a sweet treat we were pleased to see this place was open. You instantly feel the authenticity of this café. Then you see the menu and it’s confirmed that you’ll be tasting some delicious Mexican flavors. Since it was already the evening time, we just grabbed a snack to share. We had the Horchata Frappuccino and also the Pumpkin Muffin. To say the The Horchata Frappuccino was great is a under statement. Has the right blend of Horchata and coffee flavor as well as being very creamy. The muffin was also pretty good, the topping was especially enjoyable. They had many other items I look forward to trying, the variety of cheesecakes, cakes and flan. I didnt see any negatives and definitely will be stopping by again soon.
