A previous employee review from behind the scene look. First the owners keep the tips. Complain about your order don’t expect anything. I personally went to the health department. The owners wear the same clothes 6 days in a row. The dough is made 4 days in advance. The sauce and cheese on the pizza counter is unrefridgearated. I’ve been doing pizza’s for 45 years. I lasted 6 months at this location.

The founders of this joint have huge hearts and prepare the food with love. You can feel it. The pizza is superbly made, thin and crispy. The place is small, modest, and cozy, and dining here feels intimate and dare I say, deeply spiritual and even calming. A hidden pizza gem in NJ.

This is our local pizzeria. We regularly take out pizza from here. Family, kids like the pizza from Amici, pizza is really good size crisp and yummy. We had pasta too few times, it was good too. But we do really like and recommend pizza from Amici.

Cafe Amici is your typical small corner pizzeria. The walls were adorned with various sports posters, mainly baseball, pictures and maps of Italy, a Godfather movie poster and several local sports team plaques. There was an impressive selection at the counter which is usually a good sign.

Friendly staff, ordered eggplant parm and tuna subs. Eggplant parm was unfortunately dry on half of sandwich, missing cheese and sauce. The part that was good was great. Tuna was perfect.

Not only was the staff rude, they were definitely overpriced. On top of that, once my order came out, it was the picture below. I guess their play on a cheesesteak. Never will they receive my family’s money ever again….

We love Amici’s, not only for their delicious food, but the very friendly family that runs this place! We order from here roughly once a week. The regular crust pizzas are amazing but even the Gluten free cauliflower crust is great (better than all the other local Italian spots!) The garlic knots are SMOTHERED in garlic, which is a HUGE plus. The vodka sauce is on point. Amici’s makes us exactly what we ask for, delicious, reasonable prices. I can go on and on. Thank you Amici’s!!
