Someone suggested we try this place, so we did on 2-11-26. The moment we walked in we were hesitant. It’s a very old small restaurant and wasn’t very clean. The windows haven’t been cleaned since who knows when and there were spider webs and fake plants and ceiling fans loaded with dust. Furniture old and outdated. My boyfriend was leary and said let’s see how the food is. Waited almost an hour and as we were waiting,people left because of the wait time. Finally got our food. He got the fish and chips with slaw and I got the shrimp and chips with slaw. The shrimp were huge and the portions were big. The food I’d give an 8/10, service and 6/10(not attentive) and cleanliness a 2/10. Needs to be updated and a thorough deep clean. Cost almost $50 for our food. Forgot to take pics of our platters

We had to wait for a seat. The staff said they could accommodate my allergy by putting clean grease in the fryer. Great- THANKS!
But- while we waited, we quickly saw this place is filthy. The condiment bottles were grimy and obviously had not been washed in months. Tables were sticky. The floor was so greasy grimy black that we couldnt tell if it was carpet etc. The A/C units high up on the walls look like they are from the 80s and have never been cleaned. The electrical wiring looked sketchy. The food? Onion rings were good at first until we saw an actual onion- gross. The breaded shrimp were slimy between the shrimp and the breading. FF had burned OLD FF mixed in with “fresh”. They did NOT empty the fryer to put clean grease in. The cole slaw was WARM.
The street noise is very loud bc the dining area is built from plexiglass and trailer skirting. I doubt it meets building codes.

This is a great little places to stop and visit. Whether it’s a drink, an appetizer, or a full meal, you will surely be delighted by your visit. The portions are nice, the prices are OK, and the food is wonderful. I got a bowl of the seafood bisque and was very happy. I then got the ultimate seafood plater and loved every bite of it. It is a little tight on the parking, but there are options next right by the restaurant. Expect a wait, it looks like most people get a seat outside,, enjoy a drink, and wait for a table to be open inside. There is NO outside eating, only beverage service.

We were really looking forward to good fish and chips and had read this was the place to go. The restaurant dining room sits very close to a very busy road – not a problem – just needs some background music to drown out the high traffic noise.

When I first walked in I didn’t have high hopes for this place. You wait outside but you can’t eat outside. Most of the food is fried but you get huge portions. It’s very good if you like fried seafood. We thought it was great and I’m giving it 5 stars. The atmosphere is just ok but come for the food. Service was good too. Did I say you get a huge amount of food? No charge to split plates.

Great value! Nothing fancy, just solid good food and service at a good price. Had to wait 30 mins. to get a table(real small place), but has a nice Tiki with a bar which happens to be were you wait for your table. Not sure why they don’t serve food in the Tike/bar area ♂️. Perhaps they don’t have the help to wait additional tables. I had the grouper fish sandwich pictured… very good & generous portion. My wife enjoyed the shrimp basket. Give them a try, we plan on stopping by the next time we’re in the area.

The portions are really big, the place is small, old and really busy, It would be much better if they improve the capacity of the restaurant because in season it is a long wait to be served. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.
