The lady at the bar took my order with memory and she definitely forgot my oysters and my side sauce. The food was ok. Ive been to way better. But the atmosphere was a plus plus plus. My stomach was burnt when I left.

Calling this place a bar/restaurant is generous it’s more like a social experiment to see how much disrespect people will tolerate before leaving.
One of the bartenders there felt the need to make unauthorized charges on my card after I had closed my tab—over $700 !
I tried to resolve the matter by speaking to the managers but ofc with places like this running scams on customers; 0 professionalism, 0 urgency, 0 accountability. Just attitude and incompetence!
Save your money, your time, and your dignity. This place is an absolute embarrassment.

I like this place. I ordered two different boils with potatoes and corn only to create my own vegan meal. I tried the classic Louisiana, and the garlic butter. In both cases, the potatoes and corn had a wonderful taste from the boil.
I am not crazy about restaurants that smell like cleaning supplies but the food was good.

Customer service sucked. I felt ignored. We were not told about the Mother’s Day drink menu like the party that came after us. The cajun calamari and the fried oyesters were excellent!!! The Big Easy Shrimp Plate looked beautiful! The Sunset Bang sauce yuk. The garlic butter sauce was very light on the garlic. The garlic bread was just grilled bread with no garlic taste anywhere. The asparagus was great, and the Dirty Rice, while a good texture it was salty.

Terrible service. Placed a to go order at 515pm and didnt get it until 1hr and
15 minutes later. They give me half of my order and I still have to wait for the other half while thr first half it gets cold.
I told the young lady who placed my order and she seemed so flippant about it. When i asked all she said was ” i dont know” and walked away. Manager got involved but nothing satisfactory came out of it.
I get home and my order is all wrong! Just TERRIBLE

Our party of 7 (3 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 children) decided last-minute to get seafood boil. After briefly searching Google for something close to downtown Dallas, we settled for Sunset Crab Shack.
It was an easy drive, and there was ample parking. We walked in and were seated quickly downstairs. It seemed very small, but there was also outside seating, and we saw stairs so assumingly upstairs seating, too.
Off the bat, our waitress, Blanca, seemed disinterested, like she had someplace better to be. We asked for a new paper to spread across the table since the one we met there was already dirty. It took her forever to bring that, forevermore, to get us some water with lemons and another eternity to take our order. Speaking of lemons, we had to ask for lemons 3 or 4 times. Is there a shortage of lemons? She was stingy with the lemons!!
When the food finally came, the fries were cold, the snapper was too salty, and the shrimp in the boil was excessively overcooked. The flavor of the boil was good, but the portions are small. We got the second-level heat (hot), and it was mildly hot. The dirty rice was the best thing I had there.
The female bathroom has 3 stalls and only 1 handwriting sink. The male bathroom has 1 stall, but it was closed from inside with nobody using it. There is also a sink in the area before the bathrooms.
I can’t say I’ll be back. The service was subpar, and the food is just okay. There are too many other options to choose from.

This had to be the worst seafood boil I had, the sauce was really thick it felt like I was eating mole and it lacked a lot of seasoning, and the crab had a watery taste to it, it’s hard to describe but I would have honestly preferred imitation crab meat over it.

The food was excellent, music was a little too loud, kids running around crazy. Our server was ok. We had to find him to get refills. We’ll most likely come back someday.
