Very pleased. Stopped here while passing through Kingsville. Might not be the cleanest place, but food was made to order and delicious. Thai tea and the finger baklava A++
Forgot to take a “before” pic of the food.

*Please avoid at all costs* Only try if you’re suicidal.
Hands down the worst restaurant in Kingsville, Texas and the whole 7 continents.
The Experience:
A banner in front of the place, shows a Gyro sandwich, with vegetables, tomatoes, lettuce, onions.
We went in, ordered and once it came out:
It was a flute looking thing made with thin pita & some type of meat (We assumed it was lamb) Meat was dry and chewy.
WAIT, it gets WORSE:
All that cadaver meat was doused in mayonnaise and ketchup.
No vegetables were present in the sandwhich.
When asking the person about the vegetables, he proceeds to say:
No no no, no vegetables, it’s better with no vegetable!
Please avoid at all costs. Unless of course you want your date to die a horrible death.
My next step is to contact the city and verify that this place has a Certificate of Occupancy and if it has been inspected by the Health Department.
The tables were dirty, crummy, greasy and smelly. Floors were unclean and to top it off, several people came into the small dining room [apparently from the university across the street] and after trooping around, they loitered in an adjacent room sitting around on the floor and looking over towards us. Awkward.

Cafe 5 is the best middle eastern in South Texas. you should try their daily special, there is always a tasty surprise. they also have good coffee and smoothies.

Out-of-towner looking for something other than Mexican and found Cafe 5. I enjoyed my sharwarma, hummus, and thai (smoothie?) tea. The food was warm and presented quickly. My sharwarma could have been a little more authentic but maybe I think that because the sauce is missing something that is not be available in Kingsville. I recommend Cafe 5 for snacking and or ordering for lunch and dinner. I definitely recommend! Two things that I would change: the temperature in the restaurant was a little warm and almost uncomfortable, I would include music in the background, even middle eastern music because it was very quiet inside.

My review isnt even based on the food because I have never been when the place is open. Their hours listed here are not correct. They are also not correct on the ordering app. We have tried coming here twice and will NEVER try again.
