My meal couldn’t stand a chance. 1908 Cheesesteak Wrap. Add Mushrooms, Add Mayo, American Cheese. This Cafe kept popping up on my Door Dash. So I wanted something new and delicious for lunch. I was satisfied ☺️ , smiled, and wanted more. My food order. Hot, Fresh, And Just Tore my tastebuds to another level lol. To be delivered through Door Dash. Especially their Garlic Herb Fries . I couldn’t stop eating them. Thank You Cafe 1908. Keep making delicious foods. Nice and Friendly Staff Members. The Cashier was very polite and helpful when I called for recommendations of the menu

Overall a decent experience, but the fries were a LETDOWN — they were clearly old and not fresh, which was disappointing since I really enjoy a good fry. By the time I noticed, I was already too far down the road to turn back. That said, the cheesesteak and shrimp wrap were both solid, and the drinks were awesome. I’d come back, but hopefully with fresher fries next time!

It was decent, and I don’t have any real complaints. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because there was an eyelash on my wrap, which is gross, but I’m honestly not sure how they could’ve avoided something like that. The food was good though. Also, DoorDash doesn’t give many customization options and there’s no space to leave comments/special requests. I had to choose between “no tomatoes” (I’m allergic) or adding mayo for 50 cents so I had to go with no mayo lol.

I was really craving a cheesesteak wrap and had seen cafe 1908’s on social media a few times so decided to check it out. First, the positive: wrap was tasty-well-seasoned, cheesy, ingredients were proportionate to each other and the wrap was toasted, which I appreciate. My food was not hot when I got it, which is odd because I had to wait for them to package it up. The portion sizes were less than average for both my meal and dessert- most places at least provide plenty of fries, but the wrap and the fries seemed stingy to me. They also seem to upcharge for everything! An upcharge for mayo? C’mon. An upcharge for cheese on a cheesesteak wrap?? Silly.
The banana pudding-which I expect a black-owned business to do justice to like no one else-was AWFUL! It’s literally just banana-flavored pudding in a container with a few nilla wafers on top, no whipped cream, no BANANAS, nothing, like WHAT!? Real banana pudding uses vanilla pudding, and preferably not a vile, artificial tasting version, has plenty of cookies and banana slices and hopefully some whipped cream. It’s crazy work that they’re charging $9 for some instant jello pudding.
I might go back because the wrap was delicious, but at these prices, they need to step up the portion sizes and be consistent on quality.

I really wanted to like Cafe 1908 because the concept is creative and the menu has a lot of variety. Unfortunately, I’ve had two bad DoorDash experiences.
The first time, my cheesesteak wrap was clearly mixed with fish and beef. The taste and smell were so off that I couldn’t eat it. I assumed it was a one-time mistake and decided to give them another chance because of the positive reviews.
The second order was just as disappointing. I received a shrimp wrap, and the shrimp tasted like old grease and was so hard and rubbery I couldn’t chew it. I threw it away immediately.
The food is too expensive for this level of quality and inconsistency. With prices the way they are, spending on takeout is a splurge, so it’s disappointing to receive food that seems old or incorrectly prepared. I hope they improve their quality control because the concept has a lot of potential.

The 1st time i tried the chopped fish wrap – it was -10/10. This time it was dry but well seasoned 6/10 . Fries are great 10/10.
When i walked in , i was hoping for a greeting . Eye contact but no greeting smh . The person whom asked to help me gave me a half welcome . I would patronize them again but no tips or expectations of customer service .

This is a nice little lunch spot. I tried the crispy fish. It was ok, but there were no large chunks of fish. It was just small bits (like tuna fish size). The fish had a bit of a fishy taste. I did not like the sauce. It was bang-bang sauce, which is very sweet. Then, the grilled veggies added more sweetness. There are too many flavor profiles going on at once. Maybe I’ll go back and try a different item next time. They do make everything fresh to order.

We got the cheese steak w/ shrimp bowl & the jerk chicken bowl. They were both awesome the cheese steak w/shrimp bowl has a sauce that gives a complimentary flavor similar to a hibachi taste/ “white” sauce. My friend loved her jerk chicken bowl until she tasted my bowl so I reluctantly split them .
I loved both, one caters to western palate the other more Caribbean palate, so know your mood or get both .

Just left this establishment at 7:25pm on 8/25/25, I ordered and ate the Chop Fish Wrap with French fries and a banana pudding. Wrap was off the chain!!!! Nice and seasoned well and the sandwich wasn’t too runny. The only extremely difficult thing about this place is the cashier, extremely terrible service!! This guy is tall, dark skinned, and wears glasses. I cannot stress this part enough, this guy is the worst representative of any kind of public facing business or service!! Extremely rude, dismissive, obvious attitude and poor customer service. I asked a question or two about items in the menu because there’s no ingredients or toppings listed for each item and he damn near broke his neck providing me an answer! The place wasn’t busy but people were coming in and picking up orders every now and again. I’d like to support this business again but I want to never have another interaction with this sassy, attitude, person. There was another customer who came in while I was waiting and this same person I’m discussing had a bad attitude and interaction with her about ketchup packets, she asked if he was the owner and if there was a problem. The guy cooking and preparing the food was great, he was singing, and seemed to be in a great mood, unfortunately he wasn’t the person taking the orders.
Check this place out, if you can, order online for pick-up only. Insat in and ate and now I smell like a fish fry! Haha

This is honestly one of my go to’s and I honestly HATE seeing the irritating and nagging reviews. Let’s start with I understand customer service, but customers also must understand everyone doesn’t walk around with an exuding smile and greet jolly. Also, second, EVERYTHING is literally high currently, their prices haven’t changed since inflations has gotten worse so at least thank them for that.
THIRD, their portions match their price. The food isn’t bigger in the picture, it’s simply a close up. You’re not supposed to “overeat”, you’re supposed to be “satisfied”. If you want a buffet, go to Golden Corral, otherwise- let your back breathe.
Cafe1908, the few times you may have gotten it wrong with others, hopefully you made it right but for me, you’re amazing. Keep up the good work!
