This place was so amazing! The food was beyond my expectations and top tier. The atmosphere was so inviting and so were the employees. They made the best recommendations for us and got our food to us hot and fresh in under 10 minutes. I truly felt like I was in a family members house. I got to know everyone in there and truly enjoyed my time. 6/5 place ⭐️

What a treat having a BBQ restaurant in AB Campground. The food was excellent. The restaurant is family owned the staff was helpful and courteous. We picked up take out last night and I know we’ll be back. If you’re ever in Cheyenne stop by, you won’t be disappointed. They are only open 4pm-8pm and I’m sure they sell out.

Unbelievably good BBQ. Jane the owner came over and connected with us, and our service from Jayden and Race was also fantastic. We tried it all and it was affordable, delicious and served quickly. AB Barbecue doesn’t miss – would give 6 stars if possible

Unassuming hidden gem. It’s literally hidden in a campsite and could be hard to find without google. Fast service. Meat that is NOT dry—surprisingly hard to come by at bbq places these days. I would probably give the food a 4 myself, but my husband really loved it and says it’s a 5.

You can see the smokehouse with the smoke rising and smell it—really helps get your mouth watering! All the while, you can see workers in aprons going back and forth between the smokehouse and the small main restaurant building.

We were disappointed about the ribs being sold out, but it’s understandable at a bbq place less than an hour before closing.

We had a brisket meal and a pulled pork meal. We had baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw and corn. I liked the coleslaw, and the other sides were fine. The meal also came with a role and buttery spread. My husband said the bbq sauce was one of his favorites ever. It wasn’t my style, but that’s okay. The meat was yummy on its own with a little bit of salt.

Delicious coconut cream pie, one of my favorites ever, and yummy cherry pie!

Service was great. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and on top of it. We were in and out in half an hour, including eating with four little boys.

It was quite cheap for a bbq place, or for a restaurant in general for that matter! We only spent $42 for 2 meat plates with sides and 2 slices of pie.

Went here to celebrate my Birthday and this place is amazing! Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back! Make sure you order early because this is small batch homemade greatness and they do sell out.

I came here because my coworkers raved about this place. I’m from the south, so I know a thing or three about true barbecue and this ISN’T here. Let’s starts with coming inside the establishment—no hey, how are you or anything southern like. It basically was, what would you like? Red flag 1 Whoever likes this food, will go crazy if given the opportunity to have barbecue in TX, GA, TN, or SC! Let’s just say, the mosquitoes, flies or dogs was interested in eating the food. As you can see from the picture, I spat the corn out immediately. The potato salad’s texture was like mashed potatoes with runny mayo and ranch. I instantly spat that out as well. The corn had absolutely no flavor, and while the meat had a nice smokey smell, it was tasteless. Truly a waste of $14, and still a hungry stomach. Again, threw it away because none of the animals in the neighborhood would eat it. That says a lot! Closed this trashpit of a place down! Don’t be mislead by the reviews, the people here don’t have great taste buds.

Very delicious! Potato salad was very good, the corn was as well. They need knifes on the tables to spread butter. The bbq sauce was spot on and the meat (I had the brisket) was juicy, and flavorful. I wish they had given me a bun instead of a roll though. I give It a solid 4.

Baby back ribs were incredible. Fall off the bone and very meaty.
Done inside or outside.

Surprisingly good. Fast and friendly service. The half pound brisket, coslaw and corn was good. Must try the slice of pie. Overall pleased with my experience here. I recommend this place and will be a returning customer.

Just passing through Cheyenne WY. Asked were the best BBQ was and several people said AB BBQ. A small place in AB Campground with a limited season (April-October) and hours, 4 – 8 pm.
Ordered 2 of the 1/2 rack baby back rib dinners with a side of pulled pork and brisket. Some of the best BBQ I have had in a while. If happen to be hungry and the dates and time fit your schedule, you got to try this place out.
