Terrible! Got the veggie combo and happy family. It was dry – no sauce. Asked for extra mushroom and broccoli – got 3 pieces of broccoli and no mushrooms. Happy family portion was so small my husband ended having some of mine. Will never go back!

Ordered DoorDash and honestly this is the worst Chinese food I’ve had in my entire life. Working in the service industry I don’t have much to spend and wanted to treat myself to lunch. My first mistake. The egg drop soup is just a cup of greasy oil with some egg in it. The ginger salad is just a container of chopped iceberg lettuce with a sprinkle of carrots and cheese which was weird the dressing was really sweet and gross. And for entree to top it all off I got the sesame chicken which again was inedible it’s like chewy rubber and then super sweet like syrup. The fried rice side was also cold and chewy. Will never get food here again. Fool me once you know.

Wait time was way to long . Was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes and did not get my food till 45 minutes later. The sushi rolls was so sad and was like 1/4 thick and was the worst that I have ever had. Not worth the wait time . Never will go back!

The atmosphere is very welcoming and peaceful. Our food was good. The service was right on. We had vegetable lo mein, pepper steak, and chicken sticks. We highly recommend visiting.

My wife and I were regulars at the Meadowbrook location – which appears to not be there any more – best fried rice in town.
Some of their other dishes aren’t quite as good as I remember but order the fried rice as a standalone meal and you can’t miss!

I was in Chelsea last week and was really craving for Chinese food. I found this restaurant on Google Maps. And I had a wonderful experience at Golden City. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Highly recommend for anyone craving Chinese takeout or a casual dine in meal.

Yikes, not sure they really even try. The sesame chicken was overcooked and was mostly breading. The bland mush that accompanied the chicken. I didn’t try the egg roll as it just looked like it was overdone I didn’t want to offend my pallette anymore than I already had. Maybe the sushi but not me.

The dining room is open but realize that you will still be served in plastic and Styrofoam take-out containers and plastic utensils. Drinks are bottled, there’s no hot tea (water was Great Value). The young girl that “served” us was very sweet and friendly but not an experienced server. The food was fresh and tasty as always but we won’t be back for dine-in. A little disappointed as we were really looking forward to a nice little night out but had to ask for utensils and ate without plates. Not saying don’t go, just know what to expect. Can’t understand why we couldn’t use actual silverware and real dishes.
