Cadao is the term for a cultural Vietnamese folk singing style. It is very unique and is commonly heard sung by within countryside. This is such a strong name for a restaurant, as opposed to most copy and paste vietnamese restaurants with “name” followed by three digits. The place also has a lot of high praise so I came with high expectations.

Coming from someone from southern california, this pho is as good as it gets in the twin cities! (Yes, even better than the over-hyped Quang). The bun bo hue and special pho are my go-tos for takeout, and the kind owner always makes sure we’ve got all the toppings and generous amounts of meat included.

Pho was great. What I didn’t like was when we were ordering, we wanted to order fried rice with the pho but the person said you should wait until you finish your pho first to see if I’m full first. Very persistent when I tried again. Gave me a very bad experience. Are they being cheap? Lazy to cook? No ingredients?

Pretty Good Pho. Not the softest rice noodles but pretty standard. Broth is delicious.

This small Vietnamese family owned restaurant is a hidden gem. The owner was very sweet and kind. I ordered the beef pho and the broth was so flavorful. Veggies and beef were fresh and plentiful. The egg roll was homemade and filled with ground meat, rice noodles and carrots accompanied with fish sauce for dipping. I also ordered spring rolls for my flight home. I will be back!!

My son and I love Pho and we have been looking for a place in the Richfield/S Mpls area for awhile. We happened to see the Pho sign on this little place so we ventured in. We decided to dine in , the service was welcoming and prompt. This place may be tiny but it’s Pho boasts some mighty big flavor with its fresh herbs and peppers and delicious broth. My son ate every last drop. I am glad we found this spot and I look forward to trying some of their other dishes. I definitely recommend you try them too.

I didn’t realize this was more catered to take out service until I walked in and saw how tiny this place was. There are 4 small tables with small stools to sit on.

Very small restaurant that offers authentic Vietnamese and Chinese food. Tried the Bun Bo Hue and the presentation, flavor and taste were delicious! There aren’t many tables and seats, so plan on sharing tables or doing take out.

Excellent food and quick, friendly service. This place is tiny like everyone says, but often I have found that you should never judge a restaurant by its surroundings. I am new to Pho but I have a feeling that I experienced a high standard that I will now hold all the others to.
