Best salmon ever! Food is amazing. Hospitality is amazing, and I can’t even compare because I want to say the food was the best but the owner was so nice! He even sold me some of his secret salmon seasoning because I couldn’t leave without it! I had the catfish- bangin! The hush puppies they gave us with honey butter were so good. But my bf’s salmon was the best I’ve ever had. This place is a secret gem. I saw the reviews on Yelp and they certainly speak to the place. Looked empty when we pulled in. I can see why the locals keep this a secret.

I almost don’t want to share this review because of how much I love this seafood spot and keep it my guilty pleasure as a secret.

Delicious, delicious. Listen to me..if you remember old school seafood when the shrimp was not fried hard and the fish is flavorful and not overly seasoned…then this is your place. We ordered whiting, shrimp, a crab cake, fried green tomatoes, okra, and hand cut fries. Chef’s kiss to these platters and the female staffer at the front taking orders and running the facility.

Hands down the best seafood restaurant in Myrtle Beach! Fresh food, cooked perfectly. A homemade honey butter that is second to none! The owner is super nice and attentive! If you don’t try this place, you wasted a trip to Myrtle Beach!! I will definitely come every time I visit from now on!!

This was our first time eating here. The food was seasoned perfectly, the prices were reasonable, and the hospitality was excellent. The owner is such a sweet person and the staff were friendly and attentive. I got the fish special for $16.99 (plus tax). You choose your fish (Flounder, Whiting, or Catfish), you get 6 shrimp, you get 2 sides, and you get a drink. The fish was hot and crispy, the shrimp were the medium size ones (i.e., I prefer these over the small baby ones), and the fries seemed homemade, yet crispy and not salty. I also got an order of sea scallops and there were the medium size ones as well. I tried them both fried and grilled. Now when it comes to scallops, it’s not easy to find a restaurant that can cook them well. I have only come across 2. Most restaurants do not wash them thoroughly, so they have a sandy and gritty taste. And if the washing is not the issue, then it has to do with the seasoning; them not being seasoned enough or at all. That was not the case here. They were seasoned perfectly both fried and grilled. Still, I think fried always taste better…just a personal preference. As for the drink, I am a sweet tea–lover, but I got a Pepsi that day because I wanted a soda. The rest of my family did try the tea and all but one loved it. My grandmother, my grandmother’s older sister, and my older cousin all said it was good and sweet. My mom was the main one that did not like it. She and myself are very particular when it comes to sweet tea. It cannot be sugar water and it can be close to syrupy, but it cannot be syrup. We’re used to Lipton brand tea, no lemons or lemons taste, and prefer it be made with real sugar. Again, I did not taste it personally. Other than that, they had pink lemonade which looked so good despite me not being a huge lemonade person. Most of my family got fish dinners like flounder, whiting, catfish, bone-in Spots with the head on, but they also tried the oysters as well and they enjoyed them. My older cousin really wanted some banana pudding, but they were short staffed at the time, so she didn’t get to try them. As well, they were out of the blue crabs–what my grandmother really wanted. I told the owner we would be back again, so on our next visit maybe he will have some. I highly recommend this place and don’t be afraid to apply for a job if you looking to work in a friendly environment.

Very well worth the visit. What else could you expect from a seafood market than freshly made seafood? The shrimp was properly cleaned and very fresh. Everything is seasoned. Don’t let the looks of the place change your mind. This is for amazing food, not cute entertainment. $40 for two people with full, happy bellies, instead of twice the price across the street? Yes, please.

Ordered the Flounder, Fried Green Tomatoes & Collard Greens . AMAZING!! Never had better fish in my life. The flavor and texture of the greens were out of this world good. Tomatoes were so crispy and soft. The guy next to us couldn’t stop praising the cook on his Baked Mac N Cheese . This will be a must have whenever I’m back in Myrtle Beach. Oh MY GOODNESS.. I almost forgot the hushpuppies jus melted away in my mouth. I literally couldn’t take a bite of this food without explaining how good each bite was..

It was a quaint little place. I loved the barrage of expensive duplicates. The service was charming with two young people and William the owner was amazing and personable and charming. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable my first time visiting Myrtle Beach and before I leave, I’m gonna make sure to go back and visit again. I give it five stars.
