What a great find this place was!! We visited Bahamas with our parents from India and so decided to try this place. Being in Bahamas we had least expectation but when we looked at the menu.. we were shocked to find dishes like Momos and Chicken Lollipop along with a complete indo-chinese/ Indian menu. Still with hesitation; we ordered chicken lollipop along with chicken momos for appetizer and then rice, bullet naan, dal tadka, mutton rara and curry and mutton biriyani.
OMG, the food was to the point and spice level was exactly how we wanted. To top it up, the quantity was sufficient as well. Service was impeccable.
All said and done, please have sufficient time in hand when you go to this place as it did take some time to get our food. In fact I observed this in many other restaurants as well in Bahamas where food took time.
The vibe of this place is very similar to the beach side places in Goa and they do have a full bar as well.
Finally; I would like to give a shout out to Mahesh, for his exceptional service and welcome. Gem of a person he is. My in-laws loved the food so much that we ordered to go from this place the next day and once again, the alloo paratha was excellent.

Good atmosphere and great food! Service was slow even by island standards as it took us >80 mins between ordering and getting our food. Either way I would still recommend if you aren’t in any rush whatsoever.

I went here with my family, we had a couple curries, rice and naan to share and it was all delicious! The drinks were good too and they gave us a secret shot for my birthday (so nice!!). The staff was really nice too. Would definitely recommend !

Pretty good, albeit VERY OILY, Indian food. Relatively authentic spicing (I’ve been to India and have a good reference point here) for a restaurant not run by Indian folks, at least as far as I could tell. Service is similar to most other places in the Bahamas — “hey whatever man, I don’t know what the kitchen is cooking, I just work here”, but they are so friendly and laid back, it’s not obnoxious, it’s just #IslandLife. Atmosphere is beach cabana vibes with some palm trees for shade adjacent to a parking lot on one side and a cute beachside hotel on the other. Seems to be the only Indian food on Paradis Island. Would return here again.

We throughly enjoyed our time spent at Cabbage Beach Bistro. The coconut margarita was delicious and beautifully presented. The naan, butter chicken and chicken korma were delicious and the portions were a good size. We would love to see a side salad option on your menu. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly.
