We had family in town visiting from Vegas and decided to check out La Tejanitas , by far impressed with the hospitality from owners who greeted as we walked in..Margaritas were fabulous! I had the steak fajitas with all th fixings, Family enjoyed SHRIMP TACOS as well as FISH TACOS, family definitely recommends trying either one .. over all, My husband and I recommend this new Mexican restaurant El Yummmmmo

I have been there twice and both times he food that I had order was very good. I had tacos al pastor and asada the best I have had around here. Then I ordered tostadas de tinga, those taste like homemade.

Food is decent enough. Bit bland though, and on the expensive side. I guess I’m spoiled coming from Sioux City, where Esquire Magazine called La Juanita’s one of their top ten most life changing burritos, and Tacos El Guero will deliver a wet burrito to your home for less than $10. Wish they had some real hot sauce for people who enjoy some heat.

We found that the food, drinks, and service at LaTejanita are excellent! This isn’t the original new Mexican restaurant in Lakefield. It’s the newer and better Mexican restaurant on Main Street in Lakefield. What a gift to Mexican food lovers in the Lakefield area! Give them a try!

The food was better then what people were telling me it was still not the greatest I would probably rate it 3.6 out of 5 in that regard But when I dined with 3 people and the total was more then 20 dollars that we thought I was very confused we ordered a small cheese dip thinking it would be a couple dollars but it was 6 and the lemondes were 4 dollars each. Then when looking at the receipt each of our orders were priced higher then what was on the menu when we asked about this they told us it was inflation even though the prices already seemed a bit inflated to me I could have got pasted all of that but becuase they didn’t let us know that the food was gonna be more expensive then it was written before hand I have to leave a negative review.
