This is a fantastic hidden gem. My girlfriend and I stayed in the area for the weekend for our anniversary. We found this fantastic little home town diner. It is very cozy has a very small home town feel. This is definitely a fantastic mom and pop diner. The food was fantastic. Everyone was really friendly. Our servers were fantastic they were super friendly they talked to us and they were entertaining. We met the owner of the diner. She is very nice and down to earth. They told us things to do around the area. The owner talked to us for a while after they closed. We can’t wait to come back and visit again we had such a fantastic time we had to go back and eat there again before our weekend trip was over so we did. The second visit was just as fantastic as the first visit. If your ever in the area I would highly recommend stopping by. You won’t be disappointed. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. This awesome diner is definitely worth taking a drive and getting a bite to eat. Thank you so much for having such an amazing diner. We look forward to seeing you again. we thank you for a great time you all made our weekend. Brandon & Carol

I’m not sure why there are so many good reviews. My boss and I stopped in here to eat before we started working and we waited forever for the food to arrive. When it did, the toast was all burnt and nothing looked appetizing. The sausage didn’t even look like sausage I don’t even know how to explain it. It was just disgusting. The atmosphere was horrible. Looked like the place hadn’t been cleaned in years. Flies were flying all around us and we kept having to swat them away. I mean would you want to eat here? I lost my appetite and I’ve NEVER had to leave a restaurant for this reason. This was really sad because I really thought it was gonna be a cool place to try. Hopefully they can do some renovations and clean up the place a bit and maybe hire some more people.

I’ve possibly had breakfast in every state except Hawaii and Kansas. This is possibly the best – for value, flavor, and friendliness. A must go if you’re on this more isolated section of route 30.

Big portions, best prices, and great service. This is the number 1 place to go for breakfast. Worth the drive and never a long wait.
I always get the omlets because they are so good. My girlfriend always gets the pancake which is so big that you could wear it as a hat.

The food portions are really good compared to your average dining out, in my opinion. It’s a nice and mostly quiet small community restaurant.
Now keep in mind, this is my opinion. You have to give it a try to experience it for yourself.

Smalltown diner, which we love them. The food was good and you can definitely taste that it is home-cooked. The place was packed with young and old alike, with barely an open seat in the place. The wait was long, but they have a funny sign that says “I hope you like the company you’re with because it’s going to be a minute.” Or something along those lines.

This place is great, everything was made from scratch and the portion size are at least 2-3 meals.
