We were so excited to try this wine bar. The Google reviews were great and after all, we are in wine country.

Love this place!! Our group had dinner here and everyone enjoyed it from the hospitality, to the drinks and most importantly the food. Offers a different style of cuisine you’ll find in small towns like Penn Yan. Decor and ambience is pleasant giving you a feeling of warmth.

Drinks were mostly good. Had a wine that tasted like vinegar, so it’s likely the bottle was old. But they didn’t charge us for it. Food was very good. Small plates. We got an assortment to share. The flatbread were our favorite.

Came all the way from Guyana and visited this restaurant and I was so pleased the food was so amazing omg also the drinks were really good. Our waitress Fabulous Farrah we called her, she was super kind, polite and was very knowledgeable about everything, we learnt abit of history since she grew up in the community. She also recommended two restaurants to visit that’s also apart of Burnt Roses Wine Bar and restaurant she mentioned the same chef would be cooking and the food would be just as amazing so definitely visiting them. Thank you so much guys for a wonderful experience, customer service and food.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would!! Our visit here was a definate highlight of our trip. Nott only was it one of the best Bloody Mary’s that I have ever tasted (and, I’m a professional. lol), The brunch was spectacular. it was so fresh and obviously made with love. Nick, Nikki and Rose were the most gracious hosts. They gave us suggestions of people to meet, places to go and music to see. It was a day of adventures, laughter, very cool experiences, delicious food and wine, thanks to them! Thanks again, Burnt Rose, we will be back, ALOT! It’s worth the 5 hour drive 🙂

The absolute best staff, hospitality, & atmosphere! Yesterday was my boyfriend and I’s first visit. We had phenomenal wine & intended on ordering dinner. After we ordered, we found out a few of the items were unavailable. The staff went above and beyond to remedy the issue, make arrangements to ensure the rest of our night went well, & create a wonderful experience for us despite the issue.

Nice location and atmosphere but expensive for the very limited menu options. At first glance the menu states they have fully inclusive gluten free options, which was not actually true. They did not have gluten free bread or starch options. I suggested tortilla chips as a backup for the dips or cheese boards which they said they cant do because they are not locally made. I was offered the dips with a spoon. (??) There needs to be another option when there is no gluten free bread or crackers in stock for customers with dietary restrictions. For someone with celiac disease this is a major let down to go out to dinner at a location that features an allergy/gluten free option menu (which is wonderful when so many still don’t) and then to not have this be available, and end up with limited options like a salad, that you can get anywhere.
