I saw this on social media and was excited to give it a try since I was in the area.
They are very new so I will cut down some slack, it looks like they are going to open a bar in the future, which will be nice as right now they don’t serve any alcohol

My wife and I came we got two hamburgers, which don’t come with any sides so we purchased two appetizers of pickled spears and the meat eggroll things

The aesthetic of the building and cleanliness besides the bathroom trash cans were great
I like the vibe it was really good, the music kept cutting out. Kind of annoying. Hopefully, I figured that out in the near future.

We came around 5 PM on a Wednesday not too busy there seated right away server was friendly.

We got our appetizers at the same time we got our food, which is fine, I guess,
I think each burger was $15, they don’t come with anything besides the burger themselves and they’re not super big either.

We paid six dollars for each side, which I thought was a little expensive since we only got three of each so two dollars for one pickles or one egg roll

I came because the quality of the beef, which I thought was good, but it was under season in my opinion and was definitely overcooked as you can see in the photo.

They had quite a few sauces, which are actually really good. They do charge $.40 for additional sauces which I’m okay with as it seemed that they were handmade

My wife really appreciate the women’s bathroom. It was really pretty. They put an extra work there, just make sure that people are on the trash duty on a timely fashion.

This place definitely has potential, but for me, I’m giving it a four star because I think the flavor my food is overcooked, and the value I don’t think was there, or two hamburgers and two sides is $45. Not including tip so we were just under $60 for two people and we eat everything and we’re not big people either

I think it was fun to experience, but I don’t plan on coming back again

I feel you can get twice amount of food at any steakhouse for the same price Roughly

Good luck burger fusion!

The vibe of this place is super cool. The burgers are amazing. We had the blue e the velvet smoke show burgers. They were so amazing and the buns are made fresh daily. The chips are also made in house.
I’m still giving this place a 5 star but I wish the onion ring were hand dipped in house as well as hand cut fries, it makes a difference. Although the beef tallow the fries are cooked in really add great flavor. It was great to see a local beer offering.

Wow. Burger Fusion is the real deal.

Everything from the first bite to the last was incredible. The fried pickles were out of this world. Crunchy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. We ordered them thinking they would be good… they were amazing.

The atmosphere is such a vibe. Beautiful space, great energy, and the kind of place you actually want to hang out in. The staff was welcoming and attentive
which makes such a difference.

This is the kind of local business you want to support again and again.

Awesome new burger joint in SLC!

Food: This was a top burger for me! The food was recommended by my siblings who had gone there a handful of times since they opened up. One thing that I really liked was hearing that they bake their buns in house and use fresh ingredients for everything, like deep-frying in beef tallow. Our party of four all got burgers and absolutely loved them. We also got an order of mozzarella squares and cuban cigars – loved those too.

Service: We were seated quicker than expected, even though they were understaffed (still trying to get employees since they opened super recently). Our food came out quickly, and every staff member that we interacted with was friendly and enthusiastic.

Atmosphere: I love how they’re located in Trolley Square – such an underrated place to visit in SLC. You can definitely tell that they’re still getting some things set up and organized (not a ton of decor on the walls, some unused space, etc.) but that didn’t affect our experience at all. I can tell this place is going to get better and better with time.

THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!!!!
The burgers were amazing quality, especially the buns! They weren’t dry and didn’t fall apart but they were nice and airy. The fries were also perfection, the perfect crispy and fluffy texture.
We also got the mozzarella squares, they were good but the portion felt a little small.
We did have to wait a while for our food but overall it was delicious and we will ABSOLUTELY be back

This place is suuuuper unique. Really great tasting burgers with flavor combinations that I would never think of going well together. Although its a new spot, I’ve been back a handful of times and tried at least 5 burgers. My favorite burger has apple slices and apple slaw, bacon and a really awesome cheese I’ve never tasted before.

I’m also not a fan of fries, but these fries are fantastic. (Don’t know why no one has mentioned the sides…) Perfect amount of crisp on the outside, they hold their structure and are soft on the inside. The house made dips are incredible as well. There is a garlic cream dip, and a unique, sweet-smoky aioli that is bomber. The onion rings are THICC and juicy, and the cheese bites are incredible. Great job burger Fusion! Now one of my top spots when I’ve got the feels for a juicy burger!

They cook their fries in beef tallow and you can for real taste a difference. Super impressed with this place.

I have been here a few times now and tried majority of the menu items, every single time has been a phenomenal experience. The Bleu Ribbon burger and mozzarella squares with garlic sauce are my favorites, just had the Velvet smokeshow, love the peanut butter on a burger! Beignets with cookie butter are also so amazing! Service is always on point, they are all so great at what they do here. Mike the owner put a lot of effort into this place and it shows! Definitely a must try, do not miss out on this spot!

We spotted Burger Fusion on Instagram and finally made our way over — and we’re really glad we did.

Located in Trolley Square, which can feel a little quiet at times, this spot was easy to get to and parking was a breeze on a Tuesday, which is always a win. Burger Fusion is tucked into one of the walkways near the front — just off the alleyway from Whole Foods — and once you step inside, it immediately feels like something different.

I initially expected a counter-service setup, but was pleasantly surprised to find it’s a full sit-down restaurant. We were greeted right away by a friendly waitress and jumped straight into the menu. The space itself is modern and relaxed with a subtle Western vibe. There’s also a bar serving beer and wine, which is a nice touch.

The menu is laid out simply — starters, sides, and burgers — but the burger names alone make it hard to choose. Everything sounded (and looked) tempting.

We started with the Cuban Cigars, and they absolutely delivered. As people who love Cuban food and spend time in South Beach, this appetizer hit all the right notes. It’s a smart, flavorful take on an egg roll, and one we couldn’t stop talking about. The owner even came by, and when we told him how much we loved them, he shared that they had sold out the week before because they’ve been so popular. Highly recommend starting here.

For burgers, I ordered the Wasabi Tsunami — a panko-breaded Wagyu patty with wasabi slaw, pepper jack cheese, and katsu sauce on a fresh-baked bun. The Wagyu is freshly pressed, and the flavors worked beautifully together. I ordered the wasabi slaw on the side just in case it was too spicy, but it was perfectly balanced — more flavor than heat. The crunch from the panko paired with the slaw and katsu sauce was delightful.

My other half went with the Caprese Burger, created in honor of the Olympics, and honestly — that one might have been the winner. Fresh mozzarella, bright basil slaw, and perfectly ripe tomato made for an incredibly fresh, balanced burger. I never would’ve expected basil slaw on a burger to work this well, but it absolutely did. I’d go back specifically for this one.

For sides, we admittedly went a little overboard — but no regrets. We loved that you can mix fries and onion rings in one order. Sauces included the classics, plus their house fry sauce, which is tangy and pairs especially well with both. The sauces come in small lidded cups, making leftovers easy to take home — and I can confirm that a late-night burger and cold fries were just as enjoyable later on.

We didn’t make it to dessert this time (purely due to fullness), but it’s worth noting that Burger Fusion offers several variations of beignets, which immediately went on our “next visit” list. One in particular — a hazelnut-filled beignet — is still living rent-free in my head. Just reading it on the menu was enough to make me rethink our self-control.

Overall, Burger Fusion was a great find — creative burgers, thoughtful execution, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely worth the visit, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Forgot to get pics of the burgers. That’s how good they were! I had the Wasabi Tsunami & my wife had the Bleu Ribbon. The Havarti pickles & rosemary garlic fries were delicious as well. Highly recommend! Friendly and fast service with great timing on the delivery.
