Breakfast was great. I had to try the breakfast enchiladas and I was not disappointed. It was delicious didn’t really care for the hashbrowns. And then I got their green chili, bloody Mary the vodka is infused in house with me in chili. It was delicious a bit spicy, but I liked it. But the experience was actually made great because of Loretta the hostess. She was incredibly friendly with everybody, and it was a joy to watch her interact and help and assist every single person that walked in.

We went as a family of 5, my husband and I and our 2 teenage boys and our younger daughter. I was skeptical about all the harsh reviews of all the food places at the Route 66 Hotel and Casino but this is where we decided to try out. The pictures of the menu online were outdated so the cost of the ribeye steak had changed but is in line with other places. A good size 14oz ribeye for $42. My husband and I shared this with the fries and cowboy flat bread. The steak was delicious and came out hot still and Medium doneness just as we ordered it. The fries side was not a big portion but was fine. The cowboy flat bread was good just to me was regular flatbread, not flavored at all. The side salads were mixed greens but only came with black olives and a lot of them, that was our only complaint as we dont care for olives much. Would have liked a little variety with salad toppings, onions or croutons or tomatoes, something other than black olives and 4 slices of cucumber. My oldest son had the Birria tacos, great option and he ate them all, said they were awesome, only $14 I could not complain. My middle son had the mucho nachos with beef, they were a hefty portion I think around $16 but they were out of guacamole. My daughter had the coconut shrimp, this one the price seemed not to match the portion as they were 6 shrimp with fries as her side with coleslaw for $24. It said it came with a special sauce but they served with cocktail sauce. The service was attentive, never had to ask for refills, she had the lemonade refilled without asking. The Cantina Margarita was great for $13 and beers on draft for $7. We did get there after the busy time, about 8pm on a Sunday night. We were pleaselantly surprised besides a few of the nuances that I mentioned.

Came in from a long drive wanting a sit down breakfast. Took a long time to be seated. Very apparent they are sorely understaffed. Cowboy breakfast was served fast; liked the homemade sausage, which tasted really good, and plenty of whipped butter for the pancakes. Only issue was part of the food got cold waiting for condiments. In their defense, waitstaff was interrupted by a Karen/Ken couple making a scene and requiring Manager assistance. Prices are affordable considering it’s in a casino. Nice booths.

I ate here last night. I got the soup, salad and salsa bar. I also ate the birria tacos.
On a scale from 1-10 I give this place a 3 star. This is purely based on the food taste and quality. They do have a wide selection of food from New Mexican, bbq and seafood.
Let’s begin with the salsa bar, a lot of items you could tell were old. The fruit was a lil slimey, the “elote” style corn rated like artificially flavored bacon, the salsas weren’t labeled so you didn’t know what you were getting. I thought they offered queso but it was not. It looked like queso but tasted horrible, I can’t even describe the taste. The chips were also stale.
When it came to my entree, the birria tacos, they looked okay but they were the worse tasting birria I’ve ever had. They had a deep chili powder taste and the consume was thick almost like applesauce and it tasted gross. The meat was tender but that’s basically the highlight. The corn tortillas were soggy.
We finished off with the fried ice cream. It was the best thing that we ate but it was gritty and soggy at the same time. I couldn’t really explain, I guess you’ll have to decide for yourself.
Serviced was good but there wasn’t any follow up whether or not the food was good. Though I heard my waiter ask another table he didn’t ask us. But when you don’t eat all of your food should be a red flag. Waiter should have had some intuition in that.
All in all, I wouldn’t be back. Try Laguna burger. Probably is better.

First off we always come here and the service and food have been great but it is kinda pricey. The reason why we come to this restaurant is because our friend plays in the band. We went tonight and the waitress seemed like she was in a bad mood, slamming drinks and food on the table. My husband asked about the tres leches cake, and asked if it was good, and it really wasn’t good at all. She was taking my friends order and told my friends, well this guy is being rude. Ignored me and my husband the rest of the night. Didn’t even ask if we wanted refills or if we were good, only asked our friends and refilled their drinks. When I asked for the check she was asking my friend what we ordered with her back to me, and I was telling her what we had and still her back was to us. When we left she preceded to talk bad about my husband to my friends saying that if my husband didn’t shut up that she was going to throw the cake in his face. That is very rude to say when we left. Why didn’t she tell us that to our face. I will not be coming here again.

Always delicious. Went with Mucho Nachos this time….huge. Joe took great care of me. If you are wondering where to eat at Route 66, your search is over, you can’t go wrong here.
This time I got the grilled pollo quesadilla…Joe recommended adding green chile…like I said Joe is the man, he always takes great care of me. Delicious! Huge portion, have half for later.
I saw the steak and baked last time in, Ryan took care of me this time, it was a rare Sunday visit. The medium strip was perfect!

The food and service started off great, but things went downhill fast when I found what looked like a moldy or expired bell pepper in my fajitas, and it even tasted off, like it had started to spoil. The Spanish rice on the side was rock hard, dried out, and completely flavorless. I asked my waiter to get the manager, and he told me to wait a moment for Glenn to come speak with me. Honestly, the whole experience would have been better if my waiter was actually around, because the restaurant was basically empty and I still could not find him anywhere. Overall, it was about a 2 star experience.

Our waitress Angelica and the manager Stephen were top tier when it came to customer service! The bbq plate was huge not for the faint of heart. Bring your stretchy pants! The live music at 7:00 was 80’s and it was on point. Place is clean and our drinks never went empty. The prices are less than you would expect. ENOUGH!!! Just come in and EAT ENJOY SMILE AND WOBBLE OUT

Worst place I ever hadba steak at didn’t give us utensils we wait for ever just to have bland food no garlic or salt at table or on the steak like it described. I should have went for a cheap burger that was horrible 91$ of trash good cook in the meat but not tasty. Had a blast playing slots but dinner no good.

Service was good. Small lunch menu. Had a salad soup and chip bar for 10.99. Chips were hard but would’ve been a good deal beyond that. Kitchen seemed to be struggling a bit but we’re still getting the food out.
