I had dinner here. I started with the pasta fagioli soup. It was rather bland and not very memorable. The bread was excellent. I ordered the lasagna and it was also kind of boring and the pasta tasted a bit dry. They give you a free shot of limoncello after your meal, which I declined because I avoid alcohol. Service was extremely slow and not the friendliest. The prices seemed high for the quality of the food. It was ok, nothing was horrible, but I probably will try other restaurants before coming back here. It is beautiful inside and out and the menu has a good variety.

My girlfriend and I visited from NYC. This place has amazing Margarita pizza. The dough was tasty and the pizza held its shape, it didn’t flop.
We also got a cappuccino and that was very delicious. Puts coffee at other places to shame hahaha.
Our cappuccino was paired with an orange panna cotta and the pairing was literally so goated.

Yesterday Friday we stopped as we usually do when we are traveling home to Rhode Island from one of the casinos. It was around lunch time. We so enjoyed the calamari so crunchy and veggies were an added delight. My husband’s meal was orochiette with sweet sausage and broccoli rabe. Is remark was the best he has tasted in along time. He spent is youth on federal hill in providence and he compared it to the famous restaurant s there. I wanted a chicken franchise dish that I had ordered once before as a special. Because it was a slow time they made it for me and added spinach. The sauce was wonderful lemon and buttery taste. The waiter so excellent in answering all my questions. Hope to get back again soon and will recommend this place to all. Also as we were leaving the owner, I think took a special time to talk with.
Blessings, Diana and Raymond DiCenso.

We came since we were staying at the Wolf Lodge. Best thing we did is reserving dinner at this place. Service was great, food was delicious, all our plates were to die for. Owners were Albanians. Thank you!

Delish! We ordered the Chicken Parm with Penne to share and it was amazing! The Pomodoro Sauce was so good! And the pasta cooked Al Dente! Ordered a Tiramisu to-go! Staff was super sweet!

Buon Appetito in North Stonington is an absolute treasure. From the second you walk in, the staff makes you feel right at home, and the welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for an unforgettable meal.
What makes this restaurant truly special is the commitment to fresh, organic ingredients. The difference is undeniable — the vegetables are crisp and full of flavor, the pasta tastes homemade and rich, and the seafood is as fresh as it gets. Even the simplest dishes, like the organic tomato salad appetizer, are elevated to something extraordinary.
Every plate is crafted with care and authenticity, capturing the true essence of Italian cuisine while keeping it wholesome and vibrant. Pair that with warm, attentive service, and you’ve got the perfect dining experience.
Buon Appetito is not just a restaurant — it’s a celebration of real food, prepared beautifully. Worth the drive from anywhere, and easily one of the best Italian restaurants in New England!

This was an amazing experience and would 10/10 recommend anyone to check this place out.
The owner was also the person serving us and she is wonderful. She was genuine and cared about every part of the meal from the bread to the app and the limoncello at the end.
We had the fresh tomato and feta salad which had a fantastic flavor and super simple. It shows that great ingredients make the dish.
We also had a orecchiette pasta and scallops for dinner. Everything had great combo of light but impactful.
The cappuccino at the end was the best we have had in the CT and to top it off we had a cold homemade limoncello shot. We ended up buying the app for the young couple next to us.
Try this place out if you are near or far! Great Italian food!

Hard to find an Italian restaurant with a real Italian chef. Authentic dishes made with all‑natural, locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality. Every bite bursts with freshness and flavor, and you can taste the care in every plate. Warm atmosphere, exceptional food—truly a taste of Italy.

Nice spot near Foxwoods. Pizza is cheesy and light and doesn’t make you feel bloated. The clam chowder wasn’t bad. Steak was good and gf liked the veal. Cremebrulee is def a must. Overall good experience here, just didn’t like how there were flies that kept coming around at the table we were at..

I’m giving the food a good rating based on previous experiences. Aside from that, had a terrible experience last night trying to go out for Valentine’s Day dinner. We had 8:00 pm reservations, and as soon as we walked up to the door, it was clear they way overbooked. The front door and the area in front of the hostess table was about as crowded as a New York City nightclub on a Saturday night. Walking in someone mentioned they just started sitting people with 7:30 pm reservations. Took me over 20 minutes waiting in line, shuffling shoulder to shoulder through the crowd just to check in. As soon as I did, I got told it was going to be about 45 minutes and the restaurant closes at 10 pm, barely any time to enjoy ourselves and for their prices!? Wasn’t worth it, we hightailed it outta there and went to the Haversham Tavern down in Westerly who told us to come buy as they had a few cancelled reservations. One of our favorite place in Westerly saved our evening, and at half the cost for a place that would have had us waiting over an hour even though we made a reservation. Never in my life have I seen a restaurant overbooked that bad, customer service is supposed to me #1 in the hospitality business. Not sure if it happened out of greed or poor management, but you been in business 15 years, you ruined so many people’s evenings on one of the most important days of the year for couples, there’s no excuse for that.
