I stop by here every so often, usually for lunch, though I’ve had dinner a few times too. It’s normally one of the more consistent spots for Pakistani food, and I like that they always have specials on.
This time I tried the spicy grilled chicken burger with fries. It looked great, was packaged well, and was cooked properly — but the flavour just didn’t land. It tasted like it had only been lightly marinated, so overall I’d give it a 3/5.
I also ordered the chai, which took a little while to come out, but as always, it was solid.
One thing I do appreciate is that the staff are always on the move and actually working rather than standing around.
I’ll definitely be back, but this visit was a bit disappointing.

My self Rahila I visited Bandu Khan Express in Naperville on October 12, 2024, and it was super busy that day! I asked one of the staff members for help finding a place to sit, and he was so kind and helpful. Another staff member took our order — both of them were amazing!
Even though they’re students, they handled everything so professionally and with a smile. The restaurant was packed, but they still managed everything perfectly. Their teamwork and attitude really stood out.
If you visit, ask for Ali and Abrar — they truly made our experience great! The food was delicious, and the service made it even better. Highly recommend this place

I had the cheeseburger and their special fries at Bundokhan,and I must say it was amazing! The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. I loved their garlic sauces.The special fries were a delicious twist and went perfectly with the burger. The atmosphere of the place is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great and HALAL meal in Naperville!

Meanwhile, our kids ignored all this and went full American—burger and Philly cheesesteak. They loved them, washed down with mango lassi like true fusion foodies.
Prices have gone up (thanks, inflation), but the flavors still hold their own. It’s a solid spot for Pakistani BBQ cravings, even if the karahi chicken probably won’t become your new obsession.

I had an amazing experience at Bundoo Khan Express! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only thing that could use a bit of improvement is the atmosphere inside; it could be a bit more vibrant. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a tasty south asain meal.

However, I must address a concerning issue that occurred during my recent visit. The cashier, who took our order, displayed unprofessional behavior throughout our interaction. From the moment we approached the counter to place our order until the moment we paid, she seemed disinterested and continuously laughed with the other lady. This lack of professionalism was disappointing and greatly affected our overall dining experience.
Additionally, to compound the issue, the cashier made a mistake with our drink orders. She served us the wrong drinks, which further added to our frustration. It is disheartening to see such carelessness and lack of attention to detail.
My husband and I truly love this place, but this incident has left us contemplating whether we would choose to dine here again. It is disheartening to think that we would have to hesitate before returning to a place we once held in high regard. The cashier’s behavior was disgraceful and it is not an enjoyable experience to have someone with such a negative attitude and unprofessional demeanor greet.
I sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly. We got highway chicken karahi and beef tikka boti and it was the worst i have ever tried in my life. The karahi was really dry with no masala and gravy and the boti was realky dry and not well grilled, the puri paratha was really dry and crispy and the naan was hard and crispy as well, Overall the food was cold and terribly served. The food quality is going worse everytime I come here. The prices you guys charge is horrendous compared to the quality and food u serve. Not coming here ever again

Went there for the very first time. This place is located in a busy strip mall with plenty of parking. They have HALAL Pakistani and Indian food. Well organized and clean establishment.
Now about the negatives. We were in bit of a hurry so we called ahead to place an order for a sit down lunch. To our surprise the employee refused to take our call ahead order but was ok with us placing a takeout order. Even when we offer to pay ahead they won’t take our order and instead told us it had to be a takeout order, but we can sit down and eat there. (See the pictures, attached). When we got there the female employee at the counter had an attitude. At this point we were totally dissatisfied with the service. Very bad first impression. They packed the food for us to go, even when they knew we were going to sit there.
Upon opening the packed food we had mixed feelings. We ordered chicken khrahi and behari kabas with naans. Chicken khrahi tasted decent but the size of chicken pieces felt like it was made from chicken wings, very small pieces but the flavor was decent. Behari kabab was a total disappointment. There was no flavor to it, almost felt like we were eating boiled beef kabab.
Overall we did not like this place due to horrible service and below quality food. You can get far better value at other places in the area for the price you will pay. I will NOT recommend them.

I visted on Nov/21/2025 with my family. Ordered a nihari with 3 nans & a malai boti roll. Nihari is for $21 include tax (one piece of meat & half portion size,tasted not fresh but old),even i asked the serving guy to fill the portion & put some more, he took it warm it up & brought same portion back (isn’t it interesting)? Nans pretty small (like 5 to 6 bits & its gone). Malai boti roll was also small portions. Same food comes fresh in a bigger orders with sides of rice & nan or pratha on side with order, and malai boti is bigger at the other restaurant near by them. There branch at Devon serves tasty & a better portion. Another issue is there kitchen smokes in side the seating area & hard to sit neat counter(thats why people were siting far from counter).I went after a long time but disappointed,will not waste my money on there food again & won’t recommend.. Rather go to Jk ot Sara grill in Naperville. Thanks.
