We went to get food to go and we were offered water while waiting (around 20-25mins). The waiting time isn’t too bad since we ordered seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and pork bulgogi. Was supposed to get the soft tofu stew but they didn’t have it at the time. The banchan is ok but the main dishes tasted good and authentic. The portions are lesser than what we’re accustomed to with similar price range. But the staff are very accommodating and the ambience is nice.

I’ve always enjoyed this place, & this last outing was no different. Due to staffing, it was recommended we take our orders to go. It was 40 mins before closing & storming out, my 2 teens & I asked if we could sit at a table. It was really a great experience sharing that time with my kids, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves.

I’ve been going to Bunbuku for years. Even after they changed ownership, I continued to be loyal to this establishment. I went in today, and I was utterly disappointed. I could put up with the fact that they didn’t have any wait staff, smaller portions for the same amount of money, and even being served on styrofoam plates.

Went here thinking it was a Japanese restaurant but it had changed hands and is now Korean. I love Korean so we tried it. My wife and I both ordered Kal bi ribs. Was excellent…well seared and really tasty! The kimchee was really good too and we really enjoyed the whole meal! I highly recommend this place and we look forward to going again soon. The service was also very good and we were well attended too including fast soda refills and a refill for our delicious kimchee!

Sierra Vista is a tough place for restaurants. The food at the Bunbuku is better than most. However, they have fallen on hard times with their service. Now they cater to takeout because they are under staffed. You can still sit at the tables to eat but have to get up numerous time for refills on drinks, sauces, and condiments. Not sure we will go back?

Stood at the door and looked kind of like an idiot while the waitress just stares at me. I asked for a menu and she said are you eating here or Togo. I’m big on customer service, it could ruin a whole meal for me so I ordered Togo. The short ribs were great, no complaints on the food. I had 9 pieces in my order for $25 with tax. While I was waiting for my food, waitress was waiting on people and on the phone at the same time.. ♂️

I ordered pork bulgogi and spicy, for the price of the food item, the portion is relatively smaller than my regular places and also more expensive. The side dishes were also not that much and served in a very small portion. Korean rice is supposed to be cooked certain way but it is little bit different. Main thing is pork bulgogi did not hit that flavor of a good pork bulgogi taste. Restroom was clean. Service was ok. So overall I will rate this place 3 out of 5, for food service and cleanliness.

Loved it here. Portions are great and tasty. I feel its a little pricey for what it is but I realize everything is a little inflated price wise in the area. The service was great, super friendly and the fact they threw in some kimchi was all tbe better. Great food.

Easily one of the best places to eat in Sierra Vista. Food is great and the staff are wonderful. I think the prices are a bit too high, but not much can be done about that. I still try to drop in once a week.
