Not too far from the city. Beautiful setting. Amazing facilities. Fantastic drink selection, including many of their own. We enjoyed the Old-fashioned and the local version of a Moscow Mule. Tasty food – including some great seafood and plant-based options. Weddings are often held on site and can be somewhat distracting. The music can be particularly loud and conflict with the music in the dining and bar area. Seems advisable to take steps to deflect sound on event nights to shield patrons.

Great atmosphere! If you are looking for a relaxing way to spend a weekend afternoon for lunch or brunch this is a fun option! Similar to spending time at a local vineyard, but a level up with the food menu and full bar. Multiple seating areas inside and out. Good service and we loved the live music. Lindsay Blacksher of Blacksher Music was performing and she was really good. They have their own bourbon whiskey and a cute gift shop!
I didn’t give 5 stars because the menu was very small and they didn’t have many options for my dietary restrictions although they did have a few and it was very good! They were out of gluten free buns. I’m also dairy free so that makes it a bigger challenge. We sat outside but I can see how the inside might be a little loud with live music playing. They had the garage doors open so the inside and outside areas were open to each other, so we were still able to enjoy the music and hear each other talk. We haven’t gone for dinner, so I’m not sure if the dinner menu has more selections.
I would absolutely go back and recommend it!

Bull Creek Distillery is a hidden gem just south of Kansas City. The bourbon is smooth, the vodka is refreshing, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the live music was really good. They host bingo on some Sundays instead of live music. Follow their instagram for the up-to-date schedule of events.
They have weekly specials and happy hours. Sunday is a great deal with half price on their taster flights. You get to pick 6 drinks to try. We did a mix of vodka, bourbon and whiskey. They were all fantastic. The standout was the jalapeño infused vodka. We loved it so much, we bought a bottle to take home! Their vodka is corn based – perfect for those with dietary restrictions.
The food was really good. We had the Bull Creek Balls (deep fried cream cheese with chopped jalapeños), French fries and a breakfast skillet. All were great.
Alana was our bartender and was so helpful and attentive. The GM, Shelby, also provided exceptional service from the time we walked in until we left.
I would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back on the summer to enjoy the outdoor space!

Like all new places there are some issues to be figured out. Took the staff a few minutes to greet us, then the drinks were great. Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned was awesome. They are brand new will be going back soon. Try the fried pickles and jalapenos they were amazing.

My daughter and son-in-law took me to this place as part of a Father’s Day gift. Quite a surprise! Was able to take my dog. Fans kept the heat at bay. Live music was great background. I loved the atmosphere. The nachos were tasty and plentiful. The pretzel was served with 3 tasty dipping sauces. The cream cheese balls I would arm wrestle for. But the show stopper for me was the funnel cake fries with caramel dip and chocolate dip (hint: ask for 2 caramel dips) – out of this world. We had to split the last fry 3 ways! Sorry I didn’t get pictures, I was enjoying myself too much. Great find I southern Johnson County. Very busy place. I guess the secret is out.

1st time at this location. Photos reflect when the boxes were just opened. The food was cold, the sweet potato fries were old and the salad had no appeal. I know its bar food, but C’mon man.

We used to frequent Bull Creek all the time but between having a baby and the pandemic we hadn’t been back in years. We were so impressed I’m upset we have been missing out all this time! We went early on Sunday right after they opened for brunch. I was so happy to learn that they offer lunch options even during breakfast! We started with the bull creek balls then order the club and Tot-Chos with pulled pork. It was so much food we had a ton of leftovers! We did their mix and match breakfast drinks, you have get up to five bloody marys, mimosa or spiked coffee for 19 dollars. I did not take a picture of the spiked coffee but we loved the bloody mary’s and the spiked coffees! There was only one bartender and one server when we were there and they were super busy but never slacked in their service! 10/10 experience! Great job, Bull Creek, we will be back!

First off, let me say I was pleasantly surprised with a functioning distillery, taproom, and yard event space! There was so much to see. The bartender was extremely knowledgable about the craft cocktails and menu items. The food came out quite quickly and was so good!! This place was quite a find that was almost resort like just outside the city. Definitely will be coming back again and again!

Excellent food and service surrounded by a down to earth country vibe and friendly atmosphere. On the dining side you are not over powered by music and TVs. Then a few steps away they offer live music with a small dance floor, we enjoyed watching couples two step! Definitely a hidden gem we look forward to frequenting again.

Night out with friends. 1st Mama’s Frozen Lemonade was delicious. Got a 2nd & it wasn’t as yummy. Got some fried pickles, pork belly bites & fried mushrooms, then I had the Blackened Bourbon Salmon & subbed the asparagus out for the Brussel sprouts. Yum!
