We recently dined in at Buffalo Wild Wings to enjoy wings, beer, mac and cheese, and the bottomless appetizer. We always order mozzarella sticks because our kids love them. This time, our server told us they were completely out of all appetizers except tortilla chips. We were disappointed but said it was okay.
While sitting at our table, I checked the BWW website and saw that mozzarella sticks were still available for online ordering. I placed an order, picked it up from the pickup area, and brought it back to our table. We let the server know, and he admitted he had heard of other guests doing the same thing.
After we paid, we overheard another table placing an order for the bottomless appetizer—which was confusing since we were told those items were unavailable. When we asked our server about it, he brought over the manager, Jeannie. Unfortunately, she was not friendly or helpful. She claimed they were completely out of mozzarella sticks and didn’t understand how we were able to order them online. When I suggested they stop handing out the bottomless appetizer menu if the items aren’t actually available, she brushed it off and said we “must have gotten the last batch.”
To be honest, it felt like they were picking and choosing who was allowed to order what. The inconsistency in communication and the manager’s dismissive attitude made us feel unwelcome and frustrated—especially when dining with kids who were looking forward to something specific. We’ve enjoyed this location in the past, but this visit was disappointing and poorly handled.

Ordered 30 wings, paid for 30 wings, and guess how many I got? 20. The box even said 30 on the label. Like… did someone eat 10 of them on the way out? If you can’t even count wings, how are you running a wing business?

Best BWW in the Des Moines area. The wings came out quickly and hot and they were well sauced and covered. Our waiter was a little too attentive but it was kind of slow in there. Would visit again.

Wait time for drinks was ridiculous. Order time awful! People there before us served prior. We ordered 15 wings to share. So not complicated. We use to love this place and it’s gone so far down hill. My family won’t go there anymore but tonight we were like sounds so good. Quickly reminded why we never come anymore! Not sure if it’s the company or just the staff itself. Awful awful service and not bust it was 4:30 pm.

I am so sick of this store. Every time I have ordered from this store I receive incomplete items with wrong ingredients; missing ingredients, half a sandwich when I ordered a whole. It’s getting ridiculous. I’ve placed probably over 15 orders here in the past 8 months and received maybe 2 that were actually correct with all items and ingredients. Y’all need to have a serious quality control overhaul.

We had Anna as our server tonight on the bar side. She was the only one over there and she was super busy, but you wouldn’t barely notice. She was super sweet,super helpful and very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Anna for making the night out with the kiddos awesome for us! -the reibers.

Tried it out even though had several negative reviews. Good food, service was a bit slow due to weather and short staffed. But they were attentive and food only about 8 minutes longer than normal but that’s why there’s so many TV’s.

Well, I have to say we’ve been to a lot of Buffalo wild wings, and I have to say the experience we got at this location was the best and now are favorite and best ones especially having the waiter. Armin extremely professional and pleasant to have. highly recommend you to ask for him when you come here. Thank you

I never really leave reviews. Specially for Buffalo Wild Wings as their service is not usually memorable. However, that was not the case for this location. The moment we walked in, Jose (the host) made us feel comfortable and made us laugh. He happily showed us to our table where we were served by Drake. Drake is the sweetest server we have ever had!! He was so attentive and was making sure everything exceeded our expectations. I even talked to the manager about how good everything was (I didn’t get his name but he was also kind). I love Buffalo Wild Wings and this location has the best food and service there is!!! They set the bar high for other places!

Pictures of raw chicken speak for themselves. Ordered take out, waited over an hour, got home and pieces of chicken were really tuff but not raw. Called manager to let her know. She offered no resolution for time I had waited or nasty wings I paid for. She claimed they have no issues with their wings and each wing in probed individually for temperature. Kids didn’t want them, wife spit one out… I kept eating. Plenty of leftovers so took them to lunch following day. First wing was tuff, but ate it. Second one felt extra tuff, but choked down first bite. Then looked at what I had just eaten. straight raw!! Took a picture and called manager back. Same manager working. Said too late to refund my card. Going to “research” ticket and send me a credit for undisclosed amount (apparently what I paid) so I can go back for more lousy wings. I may re-review pending the outcome. First, I am headed to restroom as I feel ill. Just disgusting!
