I placed an online order for 10 Sweet BBQ wings from the Buffalo Wild Wings location on Landmark in Bloomington and picked it up myself. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst wing experiences I’ve had anywhere, especially from a place that markets itself as a wing specialty restaurant.

The wings were unusually small and extremely dry, to the point that the meat felt overcooked and tough. There was very little juiciness, and they tasted like they had been sitting under heat lamps far too long. For something labeled as freshly prepared, the texture suggested otherwise.

The “Sweet BBQ” sauce was the biggest disappointment. It did not taste like barbecue sauce at all. There was no sweetness, no smokiness, no depth — just a thick pasty, vinegary, ketchup-like flavor that overpowered everything. It honestly tasted like diluted tomato paste mixed with vinegar. If this is the current Sweet BBQ recipe, it needs serious attention. If it was a bad batch, quality control completely failed.

The blue cheese dressing was equally underwhelming. It was watery and lacked any real blue cheese flavor or texture. There were no noticeable chunks of cheese, and it had none of the creamy richness you expect from a proper blue cheese dip. It tasted diluted and flat.

I didn’t finish the wings — and that’s saying something. I hadn’t eaten all day and picked this up around 4:00 PM, fully expecting a solid meal. Instead, I stopped eating because they simply weren’t enjoyable. That’s not a small complaint; that’s a quality issue.

Buffalo Wild Wings should be consistent and dependable when it comes to wings. This order fell well below that standard. Management should take a serious look at food prep, sauce quality, and portion standards at this location.

MIND YOU i initially called the store and asked if they were busy and they said NO.
i placed a pick up order for a 6 piece traditional wings. BONE IN.
i come pick it up, go home, open the box, and it’s BONELESS wings.
how do you genuinely get that confused.
that’s all i ordered.
i call the store. (im really craving BONE IN. it’s a whole different experience please).
i’m on the call, i finally get transferred to the manager, i explain to him my story.
vibe was strange.
he offers store credit or a remake.
i said im coming back for my wings.
i asked “in 15minutes?” and he said “even quicker than that.”
bet im omw.
i get there, it’s only a few tables filled.
i see the same girl who initially handed my order and i ask for my food. she was confused.
her manager comes up to the pick up window and i again ask for my food.
he was also confused.
he was giving anxious avoidant. he was giving i literally forgot the conversation we just had less than 30minutes ago n that i forgot to let any other staff aware of.
hello i feel i was actually dreaming.
i explain everything again. he has it made right then and finally gives it to me.
i didn’t even care for the lack of apolgies, im focusing on the lack of brain.

Went with our sons. Mjy husband’s chicken tenders were spicy (he HATES anything slightly spicy), my chicken tenders and fries were cold. I know they have hot food, because my sons ordered an appetizer that was straight out of a fryer.I’ve had their wings, and those were better, but I think the boys will go alone if they choose this place again.

As you can see on both of the receipts say I was supposed to receive 3 orders of fries and 4 ranches. I received 2 ranch cups and only 1 order of fries. When I called, the manager she told me my only options were coming to get fresh fries or receive a credit for them. I was told she would not remake my order- as I live 20 minutes away, and she would not refund me for any portion of my meal. When my husband called she told him she wouldn’t be able to honor a fresh order or a refund because I already agreed to receiving a credit (which I only agreed to because she told me refunds and fresh food were not an option). So she pretty much would have honored an option for my husband that she wouldn’t have honored for me.

Never, in all the times I have ate there, have I received such a weird and almost disrespectful service especially from a manager.

Got my order wrong from top to bottom. Two burger meals with wrong toppings. Tots with no rub. Forgot the jumbo tots. Had to wait to make them. The burger was horrible asked for no tomato on one it had it with almost no sauce on the burger. Asked for pickles to be on the side of the other burger was told no I would have to be charged for the pickles. Tots were bland with no rub. The jumbo tots were okay but the rest of the meal was pretty bad.

I had a to go order. When I arrived no one was tending to the counter. So I waited…. Waited… And walked. I walked around looking for someone. The bartender could see me standing there the whole time but never acknowledged me or tried to get anyone to assist me. After about 20 minutes I went behind the counter and retrieved my food myself. They put the wrong dipping sauce in the bag and the fries tasted like they were a week old

Nobody was here, and I still wasn’t able to be seated. Not to mention the outrageous food poisoning after the fact. Overall, what a disgrace. DoorDash order that I was waiting for for over two hours. Several DoorDasher came to pick up my order and they were told by the hostess that they didn’t know when my food would be ready and then I see a post on Facebook with tables and tables of food just sitting there. Well I’m sure you may think you might’ve made a lot of money tending to the customers that were inside your business last night, but you lost a lot of customers by not getting the food out the door to the people that cannot leave the house. Shame on you and shame on you for not donating the food to the homeless.
Whoever was the manager on duty during the Super Bowl last night you should be fired. I called and spoke with you on the phone and you hung up on me after you told me that you didn’t have time for this. I will be contacting corporate and I’m not gonna let this go
