Visited here to scout ducks. Went to Buck-It’s for drinks. Small, very friendly – both staff and other customers – and a great place for pull-tabs. Bought a Jamison and a diet coke and paid $5 for both. Same combo cost me $12 in Minneapolis.

Bar has no food except on certain occasions. The lodge rates are over priced at what you get and the promised help in finding hunting locations is non exist and the ones provided are give to multiple different groups. This business is fulled by the owners desire for hunting and keeps the prime locations for himself and actively hunts. Lodge is not up to safety / fire code when we visited. Would not recommend. Many of the reviews you see on google are either from the owner, related, or regulars you meet at the bar.

Stayed at Buck-its Lodge for about a month and a half for work. It is by far – the most economical place I’ve stayed out of many nights on the road. Completely remodeled living area, bathroom, and even a full kitchen for a very reasonable price. All of the rooms were equipped with 42″+ flatscreen tvs as well. Literally all of the comforts of home are hard to come by and this place had them. I highly recommend giving Buckits a call if you are looking for a hidden treasure!

AWFUL!!! Bartender was very rude and cruel…I will never give them my service again..was told at 1:52 am while trying to finish my drink and cigarette that I needed to leave..when I said it was 1:52 the bartender said “it’s bar time don’t argue” I finished my beer and went from the smoker room to the main bar and two people were still sitting at the bar drinking..it was the worst experience I’ve had at a bar and I’ve been to quite a few. I will not be returning and am only giving one star cause I have to otherwise I would give 0!

Accommodations are hunting lodges so simple, clean and mostly places to sleep. The bar next door is nice and animated in the evenings.
