I personally couldn’t have anything off the menu, but my family did. Everything was amazing, and everyone was nice. Seems like the perfect hole in the wall for great catfish. Seems pretty clean, too.

I got the Seafood Sampler and Just the Cakes all call in pick up. The crab cakes did not make it home… No sauce just road snack for the drive home… So many crawfish tails, thalone makes it worth every penny. So much food I’m surprised the lid closed.i hate cabbage so I swapped my coleslaw for extra hush puppies( noises were made) they were sweet, perfect texture and I only used ketchup on half of my bites… The shrimp was perfectly breaded where the breading does not slide off with the first note, very little tail shell to deal with which was nice. The catfish… My word perfectly seasoned and almost even had a smokey pepper flavor. I used the given sauces on everything and they were all perfect. Nothing weird or fancy just straight up deliciousness. Oh! Squeeze out the onion over the whole dang plate. Trust me… RIP my “Out to Eat” budget…

TL;DR: Bubba’s Catfish and Seafood is a small, unassuming spot with amazing food. Limited seating and parking, but 100% worth a visit—don’t miss the fried shrimp!
What a cool little gem! This restaurant caught my eye as I was driving into town, and I decided to return for a late lunch—and I’m so glad I did. The place has a small amount of indoor and outdoor seating, with a few parking spots in the back, but the food more than makes up for it.
I had the fried shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything about this place feels local and authentic, and it’s well worth the stop if you’re in the area!

The catfish is exceptionally fresh, with a perfectly thin, crispy batter seasoned just right—no heaviness, all flavor. The shrimp were plump and juicy, cooked to tender perfection. Best fried catfish I’ve ever had! Got a full order combo with a soda, everything was fresh and made so well. Fried catfish, hush puppies, and shrimp were crispy (not greasy or oily at all), full of flavor, and the batter didn’t flake off while eating. Tarter sauce was really, really good. I’m weirdly picky about coleslaw, usually so bland and runny but it was delish here. They even offered to top my soda 🙂 Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommend!

Staff ALLOWED BIG DOBERMAN PINCHER by one young woman in the dining room. We left the place! She asked and they said okay! My dogs were in the car because thats a restaurant code violation. Catfish strips ok. Won’t be going back with all types of dogs allowed in the ordering and eating area.

As the other ratings say, the catfish are very tasty, fresh and hot. The shrimp are also good, and the homemade tartar sauce and shrimp sauce taste great as well. The staff were very friendly and eager to help us. We’ll be coming back! The hush puppies were also flavorful.
