Took too long for my birria de chivo to come out. I was the last one to get my plate on my table. Server had a upset face the whole time, looked like she didn’t want to be at work. Had to wave her down for everything didn’t check in with us. Also 2 people from our party ordered a breakfast burritos, they brought it to us with no egg or chips and argued with us about it after showing her the picture in the menu they re-did it. The breakfast burrito came out and the bacon was well under cooked like they threw it on for 20 seconds. Told them that the food was not cooked well, they only refunded 1 of the 2 because another server took the second plate. I will never ever come here again. The rest of the food was ok. Even to pay too too long.

Flavors are very interesting in a good way. The mole they put on the chips is very delicious. I ordered enchiladas with chicken, and I thought they were going to stuff them with chicken. But I guess the place the chicken on the top of the enchiladas, and they were also not rolled up they were more folded in half like a quesadilla.
Drinks are not refillable, they have cans.

We order menudo and goat quesabirrias, there was flavorful and the homemade tortillas was a plus. The chips came with homemade mole instead of salsa!! The horchata also was delicious. At the entrance said that the homemade food takes time to prepare and I agree. For sure we’ll come back.

My food pictures do not do justice, I had already started eating when I remembered to take a picture. 3 month new establishment and let me tell you this place is great. Staff was great, owner was nice as well. The chips have a mole sauce topping. Very good. I got the chilaquiles con birria, portion was good. The flavor was good. Coffee is made with piloncio and taste great. Birria burrito was very good as well. Definitely will be coming back, and will be my go to restaurant in the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible – Birrieria Casa Del Rey is a Must-Try!
Birrieria Casa Del Rey is hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had. From the moment you take your first bite, you can taste the love, tradition, and craftsmanship that goes into every dish. The birria is perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with rich, authentic flavor—slow-cooked to perfection and served just the way it should be.
The consommé is next level —deep, savory, and addictive. Dip after dip, it just keeps getting better. Whether you’re ordering tacos, quesabirria, or a full plate, every bite delivers comfort and bold flavor that keeps you coming back for more.
On top of the amazing food, the service is welcoming and genuine. You can tell they take pride in what they do and truly care about their customers. This is not just a meal—it’s an experience.
If you’re a fan of real, authentic birria done right, Birrieria Casa Del Rey deserves a permanent spot on your go-to list. Highly recommended—10/10!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted. This was my 2nd time coming to this restaurant and I was so happy I did. I ordered the tacos gobernador and omg it was delicious. Had the birria tacos before and that was delicious as well. Had a michelada and it was very good actually one of the best ones I have had. I highly recommend this restaurant

A little hidden gem if you’re looking for truly homemade authentic Mexican food.

I can’t speak for the whole menu, but some must haves are the quesabirrias and the birria de rez(beef). Birria is very good here with a broth that is not heavily seasoned like the other places. Much cleaner taste. Try the quesabirria with their spicy habanero pineapple sauce(very spicy and sweet). A very unique sauce that is made in house and I have not found elsewhere.

Place has got a homestyle feel to it, matching the homemade recipes. The location is deep in the corner of a plaza near a Chuck E. Cheese.

Highly recommended. I’ve had Mexican food from San Diego to LA and have yet to find something like this.

This place was recommended, so it was our first time. Food was very good, but service was really bad. We had to keep asking the waitress for everything, she forgot the consome, forgot the tortillas, forgot my order of beans, and was still charging me. not pleasant at all. That’s not good for business.
