Had stopped in for baked goods previously, which were delicious, and finally made it for breakfast. Coffee was good, nice sized portions, enjoyed our breakfast with pleasant not rushed service unlike some restaurants. Now, need to try lunch!

Located in a strip mall off Oakton St. In Des Plaines. Combo bakery,coffee shop and eatery. Went on a Sunday morning and was not too crowded . You order yourself and the food is brought to your table. Prices are average but they do charge for substitutions.

I came in looking forward to some pastries and quiche. I bought 2 quiche thinking they’d be warm and ready to eat. I was given iced cold quiche and when I asked if it could be warm a bitter older woman replied very rudely the kitchen is closed. I asked if they had a microwave and her response was not here. Had they advised me the quiche was cold I wouldn’t have bother. Also cinnamon roll was dry and bland. My latte was so hot I couldn’t drink it for about 30 min. Chocolate cake was ok, a bit dry.

Why is the place called sweet bites and not sweet treats is beyond me. Thanks for the delightful time. The Duffiin and English muffin did not make. Check out the POT PIE crust from the bottom golden and flaky. I was able to capture the steam coming from the middle

So glad I found this gem in Des Plaines! The English muffins are the best I’ve ever had. I also love their Vanilla French toast — you can definitely tell the bread is homemade! I’ve tried their chocolate pancakes as well— delicious! My husband loves the meat skillet. Would highly recommend this place. Great service and amazing food!
