Love the bagels it’s one of my favorite places to grab breakfast. The staff who prepares the bagels are always gracious, and polite and greet the customers with a “good morning”. However, I must say the guy who checks out the customers never says good morning. He’s always talking about sports when I walk in and will continue talking even when a customer like myself walks in without acknowledging them. He seems reluctant when he has to help out when it’s getting busy. I guess cause he wants to continue to talk. The same thing happened this morning when I stopped by to grab a bagel. I work in the customer service industry. I always do my best to provide to my customer with the best customer experience possible. Otherwise, they will go somewhere else. Let me be clear it’s not everyone at this location. Just this one individual.

The staff was pretty rude on my last visit a few months ago. There are no signs that you order first THEN go to the pay counter. Would be helpful to have signs for those that are not regulars to point them in the right direction.

The quality of bagels has seriously declined in this area. I’ve been to the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Brier Creek and Shiloh Commons locations and there is always an issue. This last visit to the MLK Jr. location I received 4 cinnamon raisin bagels that were burned and deformed. They were completely crushed flat on one side and the area was burned as well as the bottom. Deformed bagels are impossible to cut for a sandwich or cream cheese. By the way, the cream cheese is terrible and the overall flavor of the bagels has also diminished. At Brier Creek and Shiloh Commons when they cut to go bagels they are always sliced crooked and uneven. One side is a sliver and the other is too thick. Also at those 2 locations I’ve asked for a freezer bag when I ordered my to go bagels and they put hot bagels directly into a plastic bag. If you know anything about bagels you know the condensation is not good. Why don’t the employees know this? Why can’t I just get a decent bagel cut straight and a freezer bag thrown in the paper bag with the hot bagels for when they cool down? I mean, as a bagel company their only job is to know bagels. The prices keep going up and the customer service and product quality goes down. I’m really disappointed because I’ve been going to Brueggers since I was a kid and now I’m going to have to stop wasting my money there.

Although they have standard bagel menu, the DINING AREA IS STILL CLOSED since COVID started. It’s been more than 3 years now. Don’t understand the reason. Definitely not going just to pick up. There are other places that have dining areas open.

The bagels and coffee were delicious and fresh! Just sometimes they were too busy to answer the phone. Very courteous and friendly.

This used to be my favorite Bruegger’s because it’s close to my job and home. However, lately it has gone downhill. They have some new staff that isn’t up to par.

This morning I was having a terrible start to my day. I was hungry and close to the Bruegger’s on Martin Luther King Blvd. I ordered the turkey sausage sandwich and an iced coffee and a muffin. The food was DELICIOUS! But more importantly, all three of the employees were so nice to me that something just clicked and my whole day got way better! To the gentlemen who were working this morning… THANK YOU ! Your kindness is appreciated! I’ll be coming back to Bruegger’s more often now… that food hit different

Some of the best bagels and bagel sandwiches I have ever had. I know this is a chain, but the quality is great, and this location in particular seems to always have the best service. I appreciate getting an Herby Turkey on a whole wheat bagel. Delicious and completely worth the price. Large fountain drinks are 24oz now, instead of the 30oz they used to be, but that’s ok. At least these stores are still open, and the quality of their bagels is still top-notch.
