Update 7/24/2023. Local management has addressed my concerns, which is far better than the corporate spiel by providing their website. I am updating my reading on this store because the shift leader /manager went out of the way to ensure everybody was properly taken care of. I short, they showed accountability and dedication, and that definitely deserved a re-rating.

I see from the reviews how bad this place is which i should have previously checked. Apparently when you get multiple bagels (dozen or 1/2 dozen) they are thrown in a bag all together with the sweet ones (cinnamon sugar, blueberry etc) on the bottom right below the everything bagel and garlic ones and they say there is nothing you can do about it. Apparently they don’t have common sense to put them in 2 separate bags or AT LEAST the sweet ones on top. So I paid for a dozen bagels and 6 of then have a sweet garlicky and onion hint to them. Ive never had this problem before because it’s common sense to separate them. Even when i only go 2 bagels they separated them in the bag with sheets. Unfortunately Troys Bruegger’s is closed but i will still need to find another one that doesn’t have incompetent staff. I highly recommend you all just go to the second closest brueggers.

I ordered a dozen bagels and told the man what I wanted. While putting together my order he was talking to the other staff and answering questions. When he said one more I figured he was a multitasker like myself and it was correct. I actually gave a tip. When I went home i saw I only had 1 sesame, not 2 as I ordered which makes the count 12 not the 13 for a dozen. I was disappointed. I guess he was not a multitasker as I repeated the amount of each type of bagel I wanted. I wanted to return and get my bagel but was reminded by others when I shared the experience that I would be spending time and money (gas)and if I return to always count them before I leave.

Disappointed – I moved away and no longer live near a brueggers. Every time I visit the area, I stop at a brueggers and bring home a dozen because where I live now they think that a dinner roll with a hole in it is a bagel. Brueggers has been my favorite for 20 years at this point.

Listen people, nobody wants to work at any fast food joint anymore theyre begging people to come into work. The only appropriate thing to order is a bagel with cream cheese. You are not entitled to making everyone late to work because you’re a fat loser who can’t cook an egg at home.

Second time coming around before close my food is all sloppily made because workers are nearing end of their shift. For whatever reason they think they can just throw your food together and make it a sloppy joe when in fact it’s a bagel for godsake. The food is expensive and I sure as hell not spending my money to have someone drench it in chipotle ranch overflowing like a river. I expect my food to be made good and almost to perfection if I’m spending 12 DOLLARS ON A SINGLE BAGEL!!? Just because your almost going home boohoo that you can do this to any of us this is the second time 1 star yo this is ridiculous I’ll just make an omelette at home. Do your job you work at a bagel store. Common sense to not dumb practically a bucket of sauce on anyones food. Work a 12 hr in a pact kitchen for a legitimate restaurant let’s see how quick you’d want to go home lol.

OMG, at this Delmar location at 9:00 am on 5/24/23. The lady taking orders and prepping bagels was the most unfriendly non-engaging person I’ve ever seen. Did not look at any person ordering, monotone words. She ruined my morning.

Staff is very rude, overheard them talking about mouse droppings in the bagel area when I asked for a refund the older woman at the register asked me to leave. I’m sorry but I’ll never spend another dollar at Brueggers I’ve been a customer for over 3 years and Friday was my last time. Very disappointing

Not having inside seats was a bummer as it was muggy out but bagels were fresh and the staff was welcoming. Flavored creamer would have been a BONUS but it is what it is.

It’s a shame the number of Brueggers in the area keeps getting smaller. Brueggers has great bagels and better sandwiches. I just wish their coffee was fresher and hotter, those thermos are better suited for events and not a ready made breakfast place.
