Just minutes from Downtown Cincinnati and centrally located within the Cincinnati region suburbs, BRU Burger Bar Fort Mitchell is the ninth BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love… the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can’t imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

I had a great smash burger here (The Bourbon burger). Friendly staff. Easy to park. Happy hour on weekdays, 3pm-6pm. Recommend if you’re in the area.

I was disappointed. I had ordered a Provencal burger medium cook and Nashville tenders off the online menu. After waiting for 15 mins the host came over to me and told me that they didn’t have that burger I ordered anymore so then I ordered the bison burger. Cooked medium. Then 5 mins later he came back and said they didn’t have that burger choice anymore. So that’s when he finally told me that the online menu was out of date. So at this point I just randomly picked a burger off their in house menu which I don’t remember the name. But told him to tell the buy to make it medium cook. Got the burgerand it definitely wasn’t medium. It was actually burnt on one side and dry. Which is disappointing. I ate here once before and it was a juicy burger. Maybe the cook was having an off day or it was a new cook. The chicken tenders I got were small and when you get Nashville hot tenders you expect them to be wet. They were sauced up or any dry rub on them which thru me off. They were still decent but not great. I’d like them to actually be spicy.
But anyways to top everything off he gave me my dr. Pepper in a to go cup and it looked like he didn’t wait for the fizz to fizz down cause it wasn’t full. When you pay 3 something for a 12 or 16 ounce drink you expect it to be filled. Probably won’t be back for awhile. Spent around 36 bucks for just me and couldn’t eat the burger because it was dry. All I ate was the chicken and washed it down with my 10 ounces of dr. P. Smh

If we are craving a good burger, this is where we end up! Everything always tastes fresh, and they have a large variety of different burger options. Sides are not included but are only an additional $2.50.

The chicken tenders, and French fries with three different dipping sauces are SO good here. We have ate here several times and each time the chicken had been so tender and delicious. The Waiters are always on top of everything and very friendly. Food has always been served hot, fresh and in a very timely manner. Restaurant and bar area very clean, nice atmosphere too. Definitely recommend.

When Bru Burger opened the staff was enthusiastic, the food was delicious and we had great experiences. We went last year and our food was sub-par and overpriced and we vowed not to return. Last night we were craving burgers so we thought we’d give it another shot. Big mistake. Our server was disinterested an inattentive. The smash burger was burnt, dry and tasted like it had been cooked hours before then warmed up. Same for the fries. I was halfway through my cod sandwich which was good, before our server came to check on us. (We sat at the bar for better service, ha!). We showed her the burger and she did offer to cook a new one but by then it was just annoying. She did offer to comp the burger. The lackluster effort on the part of the cook and server was unacceptable. And $7 for a Miller Lite draft is way out of line. Another close restaurant with live entertainment and better food has the same for $3. Too many options in our neighborhood to waste another night at Bru Burger. We won’t return.

I loved getting takeout here, and occasionally dining in. But where. Is. The. Stilton blue cheese burger. This burger was THE burger of all burgers. The reason I went to this restaurant every time. This was my top burger of all burgers worldwide and I am quite picky with my burgers. So when I went to order and didn’t see it on the menu, my heart dropped. I think I almost blacked out. Where is it. Is it gone forever? Will it ever come back! Im absolutely shattered right now, and I don’t know if I will ever be okay again, if I can’t taste that burger one more time.

Never got to the food, walked in on a Saturday at 7:45 not very busy( bad sign ) and the not very enthusiastic young man took us to a booth in the back corner I politely asked if we could have a table which seemed to bother him (not sure why, again not busy) after a while a waitress who seemed also to be having an awful day came to get drink orders we ordered she left and came back with the drinks my wife and I were going to both order the January Special the Cod sandwich which she said they were out of, we asked for a minute to look at the menu to find something else our waitress just acted annoyed and walked away, that pretty much did it for us. We paid our check $13 for a pop and a beer and left to go to Barleycorns for a nice meal. Being out of an item is understandable but the overall mood of everyone we came into contact with was more than enough to realize we have other places we can go.

OMG—don’t walk, RUN! I went to this place for Restaurant Week yesterday, and I am absolutely floored. Seriously, the best burger I’ve had in ages. I ordered the Bru Burger, (no jam) and let me tell you, I’m now fully obsessed. The flavors were out of this world—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I can’t stop thinking about it!
And the fries? WOW. They remind me of Penn Station or Five Guys, but honestly, they’re even better. Crispy, salty, and totally addictive—I couldn’t stop reaching for more.
If you LOVE garlic and cheese (and let’s be real, who doesn’t?), the Garlic-Three Cheese burger is an absolute must-try. It’s like a cheesy, garlicky dream come true.
