Sang’s Chinese restaurant never disappoints — I keep coming back for more! Their traditional Chinese dishes are always stunning, bursting with authentic flavors and vibrant colors that delight the senses. The sweet and sour sauce pairing for the fish and shrimp was simply the best, perfectly balancing tangy and savory notes in every bite.

I also loved the small, thoughtful touches throughout the meal — from the beautifully designed plates to the charming decor and the classic turning tables that make sharing a breeze. It’s these little details that elevate the whole dining experience and keep me returning time and time again. Highly recommended!

The dimsum is the best I’ve tasted so far in South Florida, and believe me I went to all of them. Plus the food I ordered from the kitchen was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. If there were any complaint it would be that the place needed to be more livelier. It was just a little too quiet. 2 thumbs up

If you’re searching for authentic Chinese comfort food in North Miami Beach, Sang’s is a hidden gem that never disappoints. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by that nostalgic aroma of sizzling woks and perfectly seasoned sauces that remind you why this place has been a local favorite for decades.
The dim sum is spot-on — fresh, flavorful, and consistently well-executed. Their crispy roast duck and salt & pepper shrimp are standout dishes, perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. Even classics like fried rice and lo mein taste elevated, thanks to the quality ingredients and care in preparation. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service always feels personal and welcoming.
Sang’s strikes that rare balance between traditional Chinese flavors and the friendly, neighborhood vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. Whether dining in with family or grabbing takeout, it’s always a satisfying experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars — one of the true staples of North Miami Beach dining!

I have lived in South Florida for over 18 years originally from the San Francisco Bay area. This is the best Chinese food that I’ve had in South Florida at any location whether gourmet or casual. Authentic cuisine, prompt service, traditional dining atmosphere and phenomenal prices for the portions and quality. The hot and sour soup was absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend this restaurant and it will be my go to Chinese food restaurant from here on out. I will be driving 25 minutes to pick up food here when I want to eat Chinese food because the quality was so high.

I do not understand the reviews on here – Are they real reviews?? Everyone writes that SANG’S is a hidden gem. Well my wife and I thought so also, as we pass by it all the time. We decided to go last night 2/19/26, based on all the positive reviews I read on Google.

Ordered wonton egg drop mix soup and it was delicious! My wife ordered roast pork and that was delicious! The sweet & sour shrimp was delicious, but the spare ribs weren’t all that (looked great, but not). Okay, so I do not order the spare ribs again. (I needed to try a simple Chinese staple dish).

So I boxed up the leftovers, ready to get a check, and my wife goes to the bathroom, only for the few patrons eating in the restaurant to hear a scream. My wife comes out, and when our server (Chinese man, very nice and quite funny) comes over, he asks what was wrong. My wife proceeds to tell him that a mouse ran over her feet!

He says he is sorry over and over again. He proceeded to say that someone must have left the window open and Mickey just strolled in. I asked for the check, we paid and left. Our server pointed out that I do not have to leave him a tip b/c of the mouse situation, but it was not his mouse (or maybe it was). I left him 18% anyway. The manager never came out and said anything.

Anyway, we left and we will not come back ever again!!!

We were in the car in the parking lot, and decided to look up SANG’S restaurant on channel 10’s Dirty Dining, and low and behold, SANG’S Chinese Restaurant & Dim Sum was order shut down over 6 times in the last 11 years, but always allowed to reopen.

What s Shame!! This is NOT a hidden gem!! It is a gross restaurant with rodent droppings, food stored incorrectly at bad temperatures, mice, and who knows what else.

Check out DIRTY DINING on Miami’s Local News Channel and look up SANG’S!

My husband’s family likes this restaurant so much. I have been here since I was pregnant. Now my daughter turns 19 years old.

The food is excellent, the service is so so, but last night I can say the service was great. The owner is so kind.

Salted and Pepper Lobster is awesome. I asked for chopped pepper with soy sauce. It was a good combination. Love it!!

If you go for lunch, this is a good dim sum place. It is absolutely fantastic. I really like dim sum here.

They changed to a new menu that looked good and easy to order.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant who likes dim sum and Chinese food.

Sang’s is such a hidden here in Miami. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food this is the place. It was my sisters birthday and we were looking for a place to eat since she wanted Chinese however it was 9. The workers there said we can still come in and had our menus at the table and served us efficiently even when it was going to close. We stayed past the close of the store and none of them complained or being rude. Just very happy and generous. The food itself was even better. It was made quick yet had so much flavor. Everyone enjoyed. Everything was amazing and thank you so much for the hospitality.

The place went under new management a few years ago. It looks cleaner and nicer and more inviting. But the food is mediocre and not as good as it was before.

Place is a little dated, cozy, clean spot. Went during weekday lunch right at opening so people came gradually after our group of four. Food came out fresh and tasted fine, while waters were filled in a timely manner. The only thing that made our experience horrible was that when we already paid with card and gave cash tip, the owner did not clear plates, they only grabbed the receipt book from our table while we were still sitting at the table packing our food. The owner told the waitress to flag us down right at the entry door to give them more tip. We were very shocked – and it’s not like we left little tip either. Gave them the few dollar bills and we left. We understand the cost of product and labor as a business, but service like that was not appreciated, especially from an owner. We tipped every restaurant and driver during our time there. We are not cheap or ungrateful to any establishment/service because we understand Miami’s general economy and selling point is about experiences and tourism. This experience at the restaurant was a little hiccup. Overall: Food is good. Skip the dine-in service here and order takeout, or, just dine elsewhere.

My friends and I headed to Sang’s in North Miami Beach for some dim sum, served daily from 11 AM to 4 PM. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. We started with a pot of fragrant jasmine tea.

Dim sum dishes typically come in sets of three, which was perfect for our trio. We savored each bite of the stuffed eggplant, with its tender, flavorful eggplant and fresh, firm shrimp filling. The stuffed fried beancurd was another hit, crispy on the outside and silky on the inside—just be careful not to burn your tongue! The fried shrimp roll with mango, paired with a delightful sweet and salty sauce, was an unexpected treat. The pan-fried turnip cake pudding was so flavorful it didn’t need any sauce. The stuffed beancurd skin was incredibly fragrant and generously portioned. The steamed chicken feet, cooked in oyster sauce, were tender and rich. The pan-fried leek cake was chewy and aromatic, while the fried dough rice paste had the perfect balance of crispy dough and smooth rice roll.

The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
