Beautiful place good service.
However. We had a situation we had notified our waitress that we had a peanut and shellfish allergy. We ordered chicken spring rolls. My daughter is anaphylactic allergic to shellfish and peanuts when they delivered our spring rolls we look them over and they still put shrimp in it.

First time visiting this restaurant with a couple of friends. We got sat down pretty quick but the service took about 8-10 mins to get to our table (nothing too bad). We ordered drinks and appetizers , my drink came really quick and my friends Boba took awhile.
Overall, food was good but nothing too memorable in my opinion. I would visit again to try perhaps something different.

The food at Saigon was extremely delicious and definitely the highlight of our visit, but the customer service was a bit disappointing. When my friend and I arrived, we weren’t taken to a table and were instead told to choose one ourselves, and we also weren’t given napkins or silverware. What made it uncomfortable was noticing that other customers who came in after us were seated properly and given everything right away. Even though we’re young, we still expect to be treated respectfully and feel comfortable while dining. Overall, the food was amazing, but the service could use improvement.

Great alternative to Thai Oishi, and it may be better. We had the Teriyaki Beef and Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice. Served piping hot a delicious! The beef was super tender and the Pineapple Chicken was so tasty and enough for two people. We had the crab rangoon for appetizers and they were all very good.

My favorite restaurant in Lakeside Village! I work in the area so I eat here often. I’ve never had a bad meal! It’s always hot, fresh, quick and delicious.
Karis is the BEST server. Her attentiveness and friendly service is wonderful. She recommended that I try the rice hot pot and now it’s my favorite meal. I also enjoy their flavored green tea and pho. Honestly everything is good.

The food was phenomenal, it was the highlight of our experience. Though, those serving us didn’t put in any effort. When my friend and I (both of a younger age) entered, we stood at the “Please Wait To Be Seated” sign, the three front-house workers bundled up at the front counter just insisted for us to sit anywhere. When our server came, we were given no name, no silverware, not even napkins. Everytime she handed us our food she wouldn’t bother looking our way. We just watched as she talked to her co-workers for 5 minute intervals as we patiently waited to ask for additional things. As soon as other customers came in, they were seated and served napkins & silverware. The customer service was lackluster, our front-view for majority of the time was just our server flirting with a guest.
I work with obnoxious people in customer service, I can tip… my age doesn’t matter.

It was 9 of us total on a Sunday around 2. 5 different checks, and each check got 20% gratuity on it!! I would understand if it was 20% on a party of 8 or more and one check!
The food was not all that or the drinks. Very bland(tasteless), first and last. Very disappointing. Honestly Hibachi Express is much less money and a lot better.

Saigon Bistro is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Lakeland. The strawberry matcha and boys milk tea were so delicious and the girl who made it was so sweet!! Their bahn mi is to die for. They have lots of vegan/vegetarian options and accommodating to large parties, despite being a small restaurant. I’ve dined here many times and will continue to be a loyal customer 🙂

Didn’t make a fuss as it was my daughter’s birthday, but the meat in my meal (filet and noodle bowl) was rotten. Can’t believe they served that. I quietly told them to take it back. Been there a dozen times and had never had that happen.

We had the stir fried egg noodles with tofu and the sweet and sour snapper. Both were delicious. A little disappointed the snapper didn’t come out on the sizzling platter as per the description (so docked one star for service). But the server was very nice and attentive and the food was quite tasty and fresh.
In a previous visit, we had the pineapple fried rice and rice noodle salad with tofu and veggie spring roll and that was amazing. I think I’ll need to go back just to have those noodles again 🙂
