Today, I decided to order an “off the menu” specialty pizza, befriending owners Mario & Tony I knew they wouldn’t disappoint…
(pictured) My Off the menu “Half & Half Supreme Sicilian”(Veggie and Meat combo) pizza consisting of fresh made squared dough, (Brothers famous) sauce and topped with just the right amount of mozzarella for that “perfect gooeyness”.
[Veggie half] generous toppings of broccoli, white onions, green bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, Black Olives and eggplant (thinly sliced) and loads of garlic.
[Meat Half] Slices Sweet Sausages, Pepperoni and (Brothers famous own) Meatballs smashed across the half
Once crispy crust was achieved from the oven, without asking, handful sprinkle of Parmesan from the owners hand (is how I like my pizza pies from here)

Great pizza at a good price. This pizza place is one of my favorites in the area to stop by for a quick lunch. The staff is very attentive so it’s easy to get in, eat, and get out quickly. The pizza is very good and I especially like the mini pizza rolls. They also have a big window of custom pies for you to get a few slices from. I have not ordered delivery so I’m not really sure about that aspect.

I’ve eaten here a few times, and it’s already my favorite pizzeria in NJ. I recommend getting pizza by the slice and dining in. When they take the slice from the display and put it back in the oven, the crust gets this perfect crispy texture while the dough stays nice and chewy. The pizza/marinara sauce they use is so rich and flavorful. The white pizzas can be a hit or a miss. The Balsamic Chicken pizza was very good, but the Pesto Chicken was dry and not seasoned as well. The Garlic Knots were solid. I also tried their Chicken Parm Sandwich, and I was a fan. It had thick cuts of breaded chicken cutlets, their delicious marinara sauce, and gooey cheese between two very soft sub rolls. The bread was maybe a bit too soft, but I didn’t mind it too much. The service was friendly, and the restaurant had a classic family-owned pizzeria vibe. I’ll be coming back to eat here whenever I want pizza.

Ordered a grandmas pie tonight and it was the worst grandmas pie I’ve ever gotten. It was more of a skinnier Sicilian. Normally your grandmas pie isn’t as bad (not the best in the area) but tonight was awful. Even by the look of the pizza- I’m not sure why it was even sent out.

So yesterday night I went to eat something at the pizza place. Well i am homeless man. I carry bags and a bookbag with me. I had some extra money and I havent had a warm meal in quite some time. I splurged a little cause I was hungry. I was spending to much already So I ordered a spaghetti meal i needed something warm and some nice lady saw me and felt bad so she decided she wanted to pay for my meal and buy me something else for the road. So the man that was the cashier decided for the lady and myself that I couldn’t have the extra meal until I paid for the spaghetti myself even though the woman said she would pay for both meals. And he kept telling everyone who would listen in the back even when he brought me the bill he told me 3 times that that was my bill and i had to pay it. He even sat at the women’s table to tell her not to help me out. I was disgusted by this terrible persons behavior. I lost my appetite immediately,this man judged me cause i was homeless. So I paid for my meal right away I took what the lady bought me and I left my spaghetti sitting there on the table without ever touching it. That Man Humilated and Embarrassed me big time. He said he was doing his job. If that was the case than it shouldnt matter who pays if the woman wanted to pay it wasnt that guys business to tell her not to and not his business to say i cant have the sandwich she bought me until i pay for the spaghetti. It wasn’t about payment to me it was principles..He violated my personal business and Humiliated me in the process .. I have never felt so embarrassed or humiliated ever like that at any place ever. They both singled me out cause of my situation but she was sweet and helpful and a decent human. And the kid taking the order was cold hearted and had terrible customer service.
So as employees of an establishment it is not our business to get in the customer’s business and decide who pays for the customers.
And I didnt ask for anything I was paying my own way regardless. I didnt ask for no favors. It just so happen the lady wanted to help.another human. I even said no like 2 or 3 times and she still insisted.. God bless that woman. Pray for the rotten customer service guy. I put this on my Facebook as well so my 4500 friends know what kind of service you get at brothers pizza

The best Italian/Pizza place in the area! It is always busy but that’s a sign of a great place to me! Their Pasta Fagiole soup & Vodka sauce pizza are out of this world! Salads are huge portions! This was the place I went to with my girlfriends when we were in High School and now I have the honor of bringing my kids here. The service is always top notch! Thank you for your service!
